We are from Canada visiting Philippines for dragon boat race meet on Boracay Island. We just finished a wonderful feast at Gerry’s Market Market in Manila. I have worked in the west coast fishing industry, where we supply many countries with allegedly the best fish in the world. But I have never eaten such perfectly cooked squid, and a fish dish with yellow rice and mussels that was delicious! There were so many unusual flavours in the chicken kabob, peanut dish and the sisie pork dish. A gastronomic marvel enjoyed by 16 of us.

Gerry’s should consider opening a restaurant in Vancouver, BC, though we’d rather you come to Squamish, BC where we live!

We ordered sisig and grilled chicken as our Viand. We were told by the server that it will take 25 minutes for the grilled chicken, I said that it's fine. The sisig came out, it was already cold because we had to yo wait for the chicken before we start eating, but when they brought out the chicken it was RAW. the skin of the chicken was already burnt but inside is RAW. So RAW that it's color PINK. Manager didn't even apologize he just took the plate of chicken and brought it to the kitchen. I had to buy another viand outside of Gerry's grill so I can bring it inside Gerry's grill so we can start eating the cold sisig. We waited for the chicken then they brought...
