Mamou - A Home Kitchen: A Culinary Oasis of Comfort and Delight
In the heart of Bonifacio Global City, amidst the bustling energy of the metropolis, lies a culinary oasis called Mamou - A Home Kitchen. As a seasoned food critic, I recently had the pleasure of stepping into this haven of comfort and delight, where exceptional flavors, warm hospitality, and a charming ambiance converge to create an unforgettable dining experience.
From the moment I entered Mamou, I was enveloped in a welcoming atmosphere that exuded warmth and familiarity. The restaurant's décor, reminiscent of a cozy home kitchen, set the stage for a dining experience that promised both comfort and culinary excellence.
My culinary journey began with the steak, a testament to Mamou's mastery of classic comfort food. The expertly grilled steak, cooked to my exact preference, was a symphony of textures and flavors. Each bite was a delightful interplay of tender, juicy meat, a subtle char from the grill, and a rich, savory depth of flavor that lingered on the palate.
Next, I indulged in the truffle pasta, a dish that epitomized Mamou's ability to elevate simple ingredients into culinary masterpieces. The pasta, cooked al dente, was enveloped in a creamy sauce infused with the earthy, aromatic essence of truffles. Each twirl of pasta was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors, a testament to the kitchen's meticulous attention to detail.
The service at Mamou was as impeccable as the cuisine. The staff, attentive and genuinely warm, treated me like a welcomed guest in their home. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations and catering to my every need with a genuine desire to enhance my dining experience.
Mamou - A Home Kitchen is a culinary gem that stands out amidst the vibrant dining scene of Bonifacio Global City. It is a place where comfort food is elevated to an art form, where flavors are as heartwarming as the ambiance, and where service is as genuine as the smiles that greet you upon arrival.
I highly recommend Mamou to those seeking a dining experience that transcends mere sustenance and delves into the realm of culinary artistry, warm hospitality, and genuine comfort. It is a place where memories are made, palates are delighted, and...

Services Service was good, fast, respectful staff but lacks a little bit of smile.
Affordability Intimidating at first but when you look at the menu closely and thinking you are in serendra...you will think that it is quite affordable. Price ranges from 350 to 5000. Per order is good enough for 2 to 3 person.
Food *Taste - we ordered the ff 2 orders Palm spring rolls 1 order Cracked cheese with fuet and honey 1 order Steak rice 2 orders Roast pork and chicken to share 3 orders Lorenzo's truffle cream in 2 ways of pasta (spaghettini and forgot the other one but both of them were freshly handmade dough) 1 order Angus Ribeye USDA Prime Steak - Twin 2 orders Salmon Steak on warm couscous and on "veggie rice like" 5 glasses house blend iced tea food taste was good, tasty and pleasing. There is just 1 thing I didn't liked..which was the combination of the Salmon steak and the couscous it did not go well together. What I did love about Mamou was their iced tea (btw they can refill it 1x), I also was impressed with their Steak rice which I think has chocolate or cacao on it. The steak yes it is medium rare but not melt in your mouth and not worth the 4990.
*Presentation no fancy stuff or creativity on the plating side.
*Quantity - Good for 2 to 3 medium sized person
*Quality - Hot for hot plate, cold for cold plated food.
Overall experience was Good, am I going back here yes but not for the steak. Will I recommend this to my friends? Yes but again not for a steak night. Btw we went their for my brother's birthday and he got a free red velvet with a candle which is thoughtful the taste... Well the cake a little bit on the dry side..the frosting cream cheese with powdered sugar but yet...
Read moreA disappointing experience. I have been to good steakhouses, cheap steakhouses and everything in-between. The best way that I can describe Mamou is to compare it to a cheap American diner serving diner food and charging steakhouse prices. I got the 14 oz prime rib and it was disappointing. It was flavorless and probably reheated. The Yorkshire Pudding that was served with the prime rib was dry and burned — a disgrace to Brits everywhere. Fortunately, the creamed spinach was pretty nice. The food: Value, one star. Flavor, two stars. Value, one star.
The service was excellent. The wait staff did a very fine job accommodating us and they were all very friendly. Unfortunately, they seem to be a bit unorganized, as we never really knew who our waiter was. A different person took our order, served us and billed us out. Regardless, this is not a condemnation of their service. Service: four and a half stars.
The atmosphere was simply dreadful. Loud, crammed, uncomfortable and did I mention loud!? There was a customer who sat across from us who stared at me the entire time. That also made me uncomfortable. Atmosphere: one star
Tips on how to improve the customer experience:
1: Do not use rock salt at the table, at least offer crushed salt, as rock salt is awkward to chew and gives an unbalanced experience.
2: Remove the dead and dying lobsters from the lobster tank — I am from the US state of Maine and believe me, I know what a proper lobster should look like, and I know what dead and dying ones look like.
3: Try to make less noise from the kitchen. The noise coming from behind me actually hurt my ears — a steakhouse should be a quiet fine dining experience.
4: Offer crushed black pepper to everyone. It was never...
