RUE Forbes town, BGC — Restaurant in Taguig

We are a party of 7 with a small pet. We asked if we can dine in with a pet and was informed okay. Staff seated us in a cramped small space that seems good for 4-5, so we asked if we can connect another table or move us to the 2/F if there’s available tables since the place was not crowded. Staff assigned didnt seem interested to assist us. Another staff brought down a small round table instead.

A different server came to take our orders and was concerned enough to offered to move us to the second floor for better seating. We moved and found the place without any other customers. 🤨. However 2F space was extremely hot and suffocating and bad ventilation!

Very slow service! Despite the place not even filled, it took an hour to complete serving our orders. And one order not served because apparently the kitchen was not able to take note of that item. Had to wait another 15 mins.

Considering this is in BGC, this Rue branch has very bad overall service! There are better...

The staffers are friendly and accommodating. The branch gets really busy so there are times you'll need to make the extra effort to call their attention, which is still totally fine.

Calamari N' Fries is a nearly excellent appetizer. They both taste good with the Cajun Aoili dip but the calamari's coating falls apart easily.

Crispy Smoked Bacon Fries are good too. You might find the potato skins a lot smaller than the fries but they're interesting enough to try.

Caramel Beer is the best and most memorable part of the dining experience. Firstly, it's not something you bump into often. Secondly, it's sweet enough for you not to notice the usual bitter beer flavor. Third, the mug is enormous! One order is more than enough to get one person through the night with shared appetizers and fun...
