I had the opportunity to dine at Soban K-Town Grill last night, and unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant as expected. Upon arrival, the table we were assigned was not properly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. The staff, while polite and courteous in their greetings, seemed to lack attentiveness during our visit. They didn't engage much beyond delivering the menu and taking our order, leaving us to feel a bit unattended throughout the meal.
One area that could use improvement is the communication around menu options. When we were ordering, the server's explanation of the flavor choices was unclear, and it would have been much easier if the options were listed on the menu for better understanding.
Although the food arrived after about 10-15 minutes, the sides were served first, and we noticed that the egg roll was cold, while the soup was lukewarm at best. The wait time for additional side orders was also a bit long, taking around 8-10 minutes, and we had to follow up because our request seemed to be forgotten.
Despite having only four tables to manage, the staff seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive. For a dining experience to be enjoyable, prompt service and a focus on cleanliness are essential, both of which were lacking on this occasion.
Overall, I cannot fully recommend Soban K-Town Grill based on my experience. It’s possible that they were having an off night, but given the combination of service delays, lack of cleanliness, and miscommunication, there are other Korean BBQ spots that may offer a more satisfying experience.

This wasn't an unlimited meat situation where one might expect delays, yet they struggled to deliver a basic dining experience.
One of the most frustrating parts was when they served dessert after we had already left the table. How do they expect us to eat that when we were on our way out? To make matters worse, they served the dessert meant for another table to ours—yes, we were with them, but this was inappropriate and unprofessional.
We had requested accommodation for 17 people, but they demanded that 80% of our party be present before they could seat us. This made no sense, especially since they couldn't seat all of us at one table anyway. Why make those of us who were ready wait? They could have easily seated us near a table that was about to finish up, but clearly, foresight and proper planning are not their strengths.
To add to the chaos, they didn’t serve lettuce until we specifically asked for it. What kind of Korean BBQ place doesn’t bring lettuce by default? This lack of attention to detail and basic service standards was truly shocking.
All in all, the staff's inability to think ahead, efficiently seat and serve customers, and manage the flow of the dining experience made this visit a disaster. Apparently, when finally there’s a table available inside, we waited again for 15 minutes just for the table to be cleaned. As someone working in a food industry, I am confused why it takes too long for them (staff) to clean up the offered table when in fact they are aware that there are guest waiting outside but still we waited for them. Upon ordering we were not advised that we’re just having a one grill for seven people. We’re all disappointed but still we did not complain. Food were served after several minutes and there’s a lot of missing items such as condiments, extra tongs and plates. Some staffs are not helpful at all because when we ask for our missing items and orders we needed to ask three times for our needs. It felt like we are not welcomed. The food is good but the service is poor. We don’t know if there’s a MOD or OIC facilitating the operations but it is very embarrassing for us especially we’re with a foreign national friend and upon seeing those good reviews, we are the one who recommends the restaurant to him. Please do something about this matter. We asked for a simple request and they just ignored it. Still giving this resto a 3 stars for their food and not for the service.
