Olio Pizza Napoletana - Łódź — Restaurant in Łódź

The pizza was good (I live in Italy, so can confirm this!). Our meal, however, was completely spoilt by the huge number of small flies in the restaurant (constantly flying around our faces and food). We mentioned this to the waiter at the end of the meal, who said they were aware of the problem, said sorry, and told us they had put some insect traps in the restaurant. The waiter was polite; but regarding the higher management staff - it simply is not a satisfactory answer. The restaurant has, as most Italian pizzerias have - ingredients laid out on the counter which go onto the pizza (we also saw what we guessed is a manager, a woman with short hair - place her hand into the ingredient bowl and place the food directly into her mouth). The presence of a huge number of flies in the restaurant is therefore concerning considering ingredients are left out in the open. All restaurants, according to Polish and EU law; must ensure their premises are free from pests to ensure food hygiene. The restaurant is part of a chain of restaurants around Poland, so they have enough money, and abilities; to have a professional pest control company deal with the problem properly, rather than the restaurant staff just putting some (clearly ineffective) insect traps in the restaurant. I attach my receipt, as I notice here on the reviews that the restaurant sometimes denies, when responding to negative reviews; that the clients were ever present in their restaurant. A very Instagram-able place (in fact I learned opening from Instagram ads). It is the opening so I guess the servers are still hovering. But they are very friendly and attentive. For starters, I had Pistachio-Rhubarb Lemonade which is very refreshing. Then I had the Pizza Bianca No. 1. It tastes good, and I like the dough; Topping though feels a bit sparse; The provided oil, 50-50. Utensils, i.e pizza cutter (roller), provided are nice touch. But the best thing is the Tiramisu! Texture, color, taste - it really "picked me up". Price-wise though, for me is a bit expensive.

Pomimo wielokrotnych wizyt w różnych lokalach Olio - ten się wyróżnia - pozytywnie. Moje oczekiwania w kontekście lokali z pod znaku Olio są duże, ale dotychczas niezbyt wygórowane - chciałem otrzymać dobrej jakości pizze + dobrą oliwę wszystko w miłej atmosferze. Niemniej nigdy nie były to lokale, które znajdowały by się w mojej Topce najlepszych pizzernii.. Co dołożyło Olio Łódź.. Proaktywną obsługę - jasne - wszędzie jest miło, wszędzie zapytają czy wszystko jest okej i czy smakowało, niemniej kelner Bartek - robił coś więcej i to się ceni, i to nie tylko w naszym kierunku - aktywnie troszczył się o komfort klienta, niezależnie od jego wieku - widać zaangażowanie i jest to coś czego oczekuje od bardzo dobrych lokali. Dobra obsługa to zrobienie w dużej mierze czegoś, czego się od Ciebie nie wymaga - i tu szczerze gratulujemy takiego pracownika. Jeśli chodzi o jedzenie - to pizza jak zawsze dobra, smaczna oliwa i nudne piwo... 😁 Sorry, że tak piszę bo wiem, że czytacie.. Ale taka prawda.. Moretti to nuda, rozumiem marka brand itp.. Ale to jest jak zawsze do zmiany. P. S. Bartek - robisz to dobrze, ale.. Klient nie musi wiedzieć o tym czy jest jakiś zakład czy też go nie ma.. Proszenie o opinię - jest ok - przypominanie swojego imienia jest super - potencjalne zakłady z załoga nie powinny klienta interesować - rozumiem patent na zaangażowanie - ale nie ta droga. Druga kwestia - pewność siebie i dystans to ważne - zwłaszcza w pracy kelnera.. Ale - poszukałbym złotego środka! Niemniej kierunek dobry - Powodzenia! P.S2 - To ludzie tworzą miejsce i klimat -...
