Hampton by Hilton Lodz City Center — Hotel in Łódź

The Surf and Turf burger (89 PLN) at Hampton by Hilton during Burger Fest 2025 was a visual knockout. Stacked in a brioche bun with juicy ribeye beef, tempura shrimp, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, sriracha mayo with smoked paprika, lamb’s lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickled cucumber, it looked like a premium bite. The beef was nicely cooked—likely medium, not dry—and the veggies like tomato, lamb’s lettuce, and onion were fresh and crisp. The tempura shrimp added a solid crunch, which was a nice touch. But for 89 PLN, I expected bold flavors that just weren’t there. Each ingredient was decent individually, but together, the burger was bland and boring. The beef could’ve used more seasoning to shine, and the sriracha mayo with smoked paprika fell flat, lacking the spicy kick or smoky depth it promised. It didn’t come together as a cohesive, exciting dish. I’m giving the burger a 6/10—stunning to look at, but it needed more flavor to match the price.

Service Feedback: On a separate note, the service was a big letdown. I was dining with my Polish girlfriend, who speaks Polish and had to translate the server’s initial comments for me since I don’t speak Polish. Despite it being clear I needed English, the server continued speaking only in Polish for the rest of the visit. For a Hilton-affiliated restaurant, this was extremely disappointing and off-putting. I expect better English-language service and hope they improve...

The hotel is in a great location in Centre of Lodz right next to 'Piotrkowska Centrum' tram station and had no problem getting a taxi from Lodz Widzew train station to the hotel. After checking in l was in total shock as my room was on the 5th floor with a city view also had fridge as the two previous Hampton by Hilton hotels did not. Had a king size bed and standard of the room is what you would expect to find in a Hilton Hotel l was so happy as my booking was for a 14-night stay. Happy to point out you will hear a rumbling noise as this is cause by trams crossing the intersection near the tram station and had no problem with sleeping at night. ||The city view was amazing the bed was comfortable and the room amenities were great as were the cleaning staff and breakfast was convenient. If you like shopping, you are in walking distance to Galeria Lodzka or catch a tram to Manufaktura shopping mall. Everything was super. Underground parking available. Friendly personnel. Very clean. Newly built hotel. Very good breakfast. Unfortunately windows cannot be opened, so only AC air, but acceptable. We enjoyed our stay.

Update from August 2024: We had an amazing corner room with a city view. But, as we travel by car, one of the main criterias to select the hotel again is the parking, and we have chosen this hotel because we know it has a nice garage. Unfortunately the garage was full when we arrived not later, just at 18:00, and we were asked to park the car outside at the location nearby. It was said it is monitored, nevertheless we chose the hotel to have an underground parking, to have the car parked as safe as possible, be able to reach the car without going outside. The car park outside is in owful condition. We had to clean the car in the morning because of some big birds made their dirty things hugely on our car. Therefore reduced rating this time (I would never choose this place if I knew there is only outside parking, and even costs the same as the garage, while other hotels nearby...
