Steakownia — Restaurant in Łódź

Tried the Cheesesteak Burger (59 PLN) at Steakownia for Burger Fest 2025, splitting it with my girlfriend. It looked good, with thin-sliced rib-eye, brioche bun, cheddar, cheese sauce, grilled peppers, onions, and jalapeños. The menu made it sound awesome, but the flavors unfortunately just didn’t show up. The cheddar was pretty much nonexistent, and the cheese sauce was so faint you could barely taste it. Jalapeños were the only thing giving it any kick. The peppers and onions were fine but nothing special, and the rib-eye was okay, just not something you’d rave about. Unlike the Bałkan Burger at Len & Bawełna, which I’d love to see on their regular menu, this one didn’t leave much of an impression. The steak fries were also dull, no seasoning at all. We came yesterday at 14:45, 4 hungry ppl. A woman welcomed us at the entrance and said " everything is booked". I counted 8 seats at the entrance and one big sofa available. Since I'm familiar with this Polish attitude as well I know it's a good restaurant, I asked again, are you sure it's full and for what time are the reservations? She replied with sour face "yes, for 15:15". I asked again, are you sure that 14 ppl will come now? She said yes. So we left. We went to an amazing burger place in a 2floors container next to it. When you want to get a really good steak - that the place. If in addition to perfect main dish you wanna get a suitable cocktail - that the place. Surely worth to visit. Don't be afraid to go through the hall to discover a cozy big one terrace.
