Second place I was in where they knew how to serve wine and first I would recommend to visit just for such occasion.

I had the pleasure of trying a unique dish - a salad featuring tender slices of liver, paired with a refreshing glass of white wine from Germany.

First, let's talk about the salad. The liver was cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was both rich and flavorful. It was complemented by a variety of fresh greens, including crisp lettuce, peppery arugula, and delicate spinach, adding a wonderful contrast of textures and flavors. Karafka Winebar & Restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a special occasion like Valentine's Day. Its located directly next to the stary rynek the famous jatki street. One of the highlights is the friendly owner, who personally greets guests and, upon request, provides engaging wine tastings that add a personal touch to the experience. The selection of wines is excellent but no wine card please add a wine card its a must!!! , and the food is flavorful and well-prepared.

However, the restaurant is quite small, which can make it feel a bit cramped, and the portion sizes are on the smaller side. Its a shame its not listed under the breakfast category on google maps. We were going to a different restaurant for breakfast that we found on google maps but on the way there we were drawn to this place by its charming look even from outside and decided to eat here instead. So glad we did because the breakfast we ordered was down right delicious. Wide variety of choice but we went with adams and benedict breakfast. Both tasted amazing and were plated very elegantly. We ordered a green and a black tea aswell, which to our surprise came in tea pots with enough tea for 2 big cups each. Staff was friendly and even though it was full they organized a table for us anyway. The waitress that served us spoke good english.
