BubbleJoy Gdańsk — Restaurant in Gdansk

I’m very familiar with many authentic Taiwanese-owned bubble tea places in Germany that primarily have Taiwanese communities in mind. I’m actually really impressed with Bubble Joy !! Melon milk tea and coconut milk tea were very good. The consistency was PERFECT, it wasn’t “watery” but not thick either. The booth itself was nicely decorated and everything well labeled. It was a joy to visit.

What could make it even better in my opinion: adjustable sweetness, drinks were a bit too sweet for my taste, 70% sugar would be perfect tapioca could have a more prominent brown sugar/molasses taste and be more “chewy” (it’s difficult to explain, it was well cooked but didn’t have so much of the nice springiness to it) a bit more prominent/recognizable taste of tea (in melon and coconut milk tea, we haven’t tried others YET) I would love to also try the teas with more authentic toppings like grass jelly, pudding, cream cheese/milk foam or azuki bean! I know it might be risky since they’re more traditional (my Polish mom really didn’t want to try cheese tea because it was so weird to her, she liked it tho after I forced her to try HAHAH) but I think it would be an amazing opportunity! Maybe at first something less risky like pudding; you could be the first chain to start to introduce more traditional flavors and toppings! If I had enough points/bubbles to redeem the reward where I can choose a new flavor, I would definitely go for azuki bean milk tea or thai milk tea, maybe someday HAHAHAH

Chodziłam tu od lat. Wszystko było cudownie, miła atmosfera, obsługa cudowna. Natrafiłam na Panią Sofię i wszystko się zmieniło. Kobieta się uczyła, więc nie oczekiwałam od niej za wiele, lecz przyszłam tam miesiąc później i nie widzę żadnego progresu. Pani Sofia nie umiała zrobić płatności blikiem jak poprzednio, a gdy miałam dostać prezent powitalny -50% to rabat był tylko 10 zł a miał być 20. Zastanowiłam się dlaczego zapłaciłam więcej niż ostatnim razem, gdy moja przyjaciółka miała prezent powitalny i obsługiwał ją inny mężczyzna i zapłaciliśmy ok. 20 zł. Na dodatek Pani dodała nam do rachunku tapiokę, gdy jej nie zamawiałam. A poza tym strefa wypoczynkowa powinna być tylko dla kupujących bubble tea, ponieważ starszy Pan położył się na tych pufach i grał i nie było miejsca dla żadnej osoby nawet jednej. Podsumowując Pani Sofia niestety nie nadaje się do tej pracy (też pracuję od miesiąca w innej pracy, ale jakoś umiem nabić na rachunek płatność blikiem, uważam, że jest to podstawa do dobrej jakości...
