Fahrenheit by Jack's — Restaurant in Gdansk

BAD EXPERIENCE - We will not visit Fahrenheit by Jack's restaurant again!

When we went to the restaurant it wasn’t even half full of quests, maybe 15 people together.

We ordered from starters – Chicken Hot Wings and cheeseburger and Caesar salad. Drinks – 1 L beer and soft drink were ordered at the same time.

First, it took so long time to get drinks. Finally, we got them. And after at least 30 minutes they bring our food: cheeseburger and Caesar salad, BUT not ordered chicken wings. Instead of chicken wings, they brought onion rings. !!??!! We explained that starter should come before main meals and that we didn’t order onion rings so waitress took them away.

We started eating. After finishing Cheeseburger and Caesar salad and beer they still hadn't brought ordered starter – chicken wings, so we told to waitress that we want to leave. He told okay but also explained that the check machine is not working and he can’t print out the bill and all together is something 200 Polish Zloty. Waitress left somewhere. Because we where sure that it can’t cost so much and made own calculation and we got something 150 Polish Zloty.

Waitress came finally back and he had printed bill. How he managed to make print if previously said that the printer does not work !!??? Strange ?? On the bill was our ordered Cheeseburger and Caesar salad, 2 soft drinks and beer – things wat we all get. BUT there was more, also chicken wings and 2 onion rings and waitress told to us to ignore them. Also, there was on line to french-fries with own price. WOW, if we ordered cheeseburger, we expected that french-fries are included like on picture on menu.

We agreed to pay for things what we got and left. Also, I asked waitress is he new, because all things together were A TOTAL MESS. Waitress said that he is not new.

We will not visit Fahrenheit by Jack's restaurant again!

In addition to the previous negative experience, the place also had a positive aspect – food quality. The food was good so at least the chef is doing...

I was first time in this bar abaut 7 years ago ,abaut every year I visit Gdańsk minimum one time sometimes two ,tree times and visit this bar spend time because I liked before ,some of my favorite place in Gdansk but today I was there and looking how the atmosphere ,it wasn’t so much people in side ,I was using WC and think maybe I come back laiter againe,the waiters was very unfriendly to me ,ı was reeli mad,she asked to me have you been here today ,I said no but day before and many years many time I visit here,she said very agly I dont remember you,isaid to her I can pay WC but I’m your customers why you acting like Thad?Other woman worker olso laught sarcastically to me,they dont even wahnt to listen ore hear what I try to explained to them,they said they clean WC,so customers cant use wc ore?Day before was guys very friendly in bar,I came from Finland ,ı recommend this bar evertime,where I live in Finland coming to Gdansk many tourist,I will never againe recommend this place,it was very bad acting!They before i take people there with me and recommend to them this is nice place!Iwas turn back and still try to be kind and buy some smole beer just pay and even don’t drink and go out of there because ı used WC!Same girl said to me what you wahnt?!!They even dint say Hei ore something and not happy face if you drink smole beer you cant pay with card!!! I just try to be good but againe acting was so bad!!İ said ok no problem I dont have cash money and thanks ,by…Never againe to to this bar!!Maybe 20 times I was visit this city and I been in this bar many times but...

Saturday 7th september . I ordered 1 coffe and 1 liqueur . The waiter ( young guy brought me 1 coffe and 1 coffe & liqueur ( mixed ! ) and left before i was able to say anything. When i got his colleuga i explained that i ordered 1 coffe and 1 liqueur ( not coffe mixed with liqueur ). The waiter apologized and said he would fix it and left. After 5 min the first waiter show up with 1 liqueur. I thanked and was pleased UNTIL i was going to pay. I was charged for everything ! Absolutely everything. I said that this could be right but the waiter started to argue with me claiming i had ordered it. I paid without making any more out of it and left. PS . Language is not any problem as i speak polish and i had friends with me that is polish. They was shocked how a waiter could behave. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I WILL NEVER COME BACK !

Additional: September 17th. The owner has responded to my honest opinion. He is asking me to visit again so i hopefully will give a better opinion as he was sure it was a "misunderstanding". No .. it wasn't a misunderstanding the second time the waiter came with the liqueur. I had NOT ordered the second liqueur. In my opinion it was a compensation for the first mistake the waiter made. And now the owner invite me back to spend MORE money instead of inviting me back to make up for the missunderstanding. Well ... What to say about that ... ? I will leave that to readers to judge.

PS If your employeers has so low language skills that they even dont understand their own native language , maybe you should...
