Malika Restaurant is an interesting and fresh variety. Reservation of the table around 4.30 pm with no problem. A smiling waiter service greeted me. At the beginning of a checkout, bread and green olives paste. We start with a starter, a paste made of black olives and figs and pomegranate, plus fresh pita, and black and green olives in a pickle in Arabic. Yummy. Well, the main course or 🦆 smoked duck (pink duck and delicate sweet) and kefta with mutton (shashlik quite spicy but delicious. To dessert Kadafiya and super espresso.Seasonable prices. One two people cost about 200 / 250pln. Served dishes may not they are complicated but they are wonderfully seasoned and delicious.
Malika Restaurant to ciekawa i świerza odmiana. Rezerwacja stolika ok godziny 16.30 bez problemu.

We were in 3 after the theater, December 30th. In the beginning we were absolutely happy to find this place by case, since on Saturdays everything is packed with people.
Even though we warned our waiter that we came only for drinks he was extremely nice and I said to my friends "Wow, looks like I've found my favorite place to come here for a family event one day!" We left good tips and were going to leave.
And suddenly approached another waitress and said with a very irritated voice "If you're not ordering anything else then we have a reservation for this table! Do you understand me?!" She repeated this loudly a couple of times so the people around started to steer us.
There were other two free tables in the room so it was clear she was kicking us out by intention.
We felt awful. And it's just before New year's eve.
How is it possible that the restaurant manager didn't explain to this waitress that people who entered by case even for a cup of coffee could turn into a...
Read moreI DO NOT recommend if you care more about food tastes than service/atmosphere.
Sadly, it used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Gdynia but I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED to the recent two visits. It is understandable that they have to raise the price due to the inflation but it is unforgivable that dishes are becoming sooooo mediocre comparing to two years ago. No matter the meat or vegi it's just not the same as they used to offer. It tastes boring and plain just like a random restaurant you walk into on a touristic street.
Considering you can have much much more delicious food from Pasta Miasta across the street or almost any other fine restaurants on the same street, it is not worthy it to dine in here.
Maybe we will come back to Malika in half a year and hopefully there will an improvement in...
