Ah, The Dockers Inn Pub – the place where your dreams of finding a quintessential Irish pub come true, or at least get a good attempt. This spot is well-maintained, meaning you won’t stick to the floors, and the walls aren’t crying out for a new coat of paint. The drink selection is wider than your waistline after too many pub burgers – everything from Guinness (of course) to craft beers that sound like they were named by a hipster with a thesaurus. If football (the real kind, not the American version) is your thing, you’ll love the big screens and the rowdy crowd who have opinions on every single play. If not, you can just chill with your friends and pretend to understand what's happening on screen. Speaking of burgers, the hamburger here is a win. It’s like finding a decent plot in a B-grade movie – unexpected but delightful. Whether you’re here for the drinks, the sports, or just to hang out, The Dockers Inn Pub gets the job done without any pretentious...
Read moreFood was out of this world and did not take a long time to get once the order was placed. The Whiskey sours here are among the best I have had in all of Poland and top 3 anywhere I've had one. The bartender was not exactly cordial, but wasn't rude either. I just had the feeling maybe he wished we hadn't chose to eat/drink here. He really didn't seem happy to have to make Whiskey Sours but made a terrific one nonetheless. The establishment itself was very cool, I feel like the atmosphere would be cool during a European Futbol match but we were there on a pretty dead weekday. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good Whiskey sour and some great quality English food!! Try the Toast or the Pastrami sandwich! Also, their French fries are the BEST I've found in all of Poland. They have the old US Burger King crunch and are well seasoned too, not the typical bland potato slices you find...
Read moreNew place in Gdynia. Well new to us. And such a great surprise. At first I thought it would be a bit pretentious place, trying to be a whisky bar very snobbish and boring. I was so happy we decided to give it a try. Great atmosphere, great staff behind the bar, guys speak English but the most important thing quite impressive selection of whisky and not to pricey either. 25 PLZ for 4cl of Laphroaig 10 years. Not a bad price even with £ still diving in value. They make quite good cocktails as well. The menu is rather classic but the guys are happy to mix stuff for you. Definitely will be visiting the place next time...
