Sushi Siedem & Thai Food — Restaurant in Gdynia

I came here in a perfect mood, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The service was unprofessional. They didn’t have the drink I ordered, and when I asked if they could check at the bar, my request was ignored. No alternative was suggested. I told to the waitress I need more time to think. But she never returned, which felt rude.

What made it even worse was that the staff openly complained about me in Polish. I spoke in English, but I fully understand Polish, so it was extremely uncomfortable to sit there and listen.

Even the small things showed a lack of care: there wasn’t enough soy sauce provided, the wooden sushi sticks were cheap and flawed, and the waitress didn’t wear a name badge, so I couldn’t even know who was serving me. On top of that, part of the avocado in my sushi hadn’t been properly cleaned. The section that should always be cut away was left in, which made it unpleasant to eat.

To make matters worse, the prices on their online and offline menus don’t match. The printed version in the restaurant is higher, which felt very strange and unprofessional.

And the cherry on the cake? I actually hurt my arm trying to open the heaviest door ever just to get outside.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. Definitely not...

Upon arrival, this sushi restaurant made a very positive and tidy impression, which led us to choose it for a business lunch. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the female waitress.

When we were seated, the waitress, Ilona, abruptly tossed the menus onto the table and didn't ask if we wanted any drinks. After waiting for some time, we had to call her over ourselves to place our order. She responded with an arrogant look and reluctantly took our order. To our dismay, we were served regular Pepsi instead of the Cola Zero we had requested. When we pointed out the mistake, she walked away, speaking in her native language, and eventually brought us the correct drinks with obvious reluctance.

We have dined at many restaurants, but we have never been treated as rudely as we were here. As a result, we are giving this restaurant only one star. We would have given zero stars if that were an option. This one star is already more than...

A restaurant that makes you feel special from the very first moment

We were truly impressed by this place! The service was fantastic, especially the young man who served us: so kind and friendly, he welcomed us as if we were in Italy, even though we were far from home. He was excellent at recommending different dishes and made us feel immediately at ease. The waiting times were very short, and the restaurant itself is beautifully maintained, elegant, and cared for with great attention to detail. We ate plenty, everything was delicious, and we felt truly pampered.
