Cafe Kattowitz — Restaurant in Katowice

Cafe Kattowitz is a great cafe that offers various meals & drinks and wonderful desserts. The interior is very Victorian style with a small bar twist. The staff is occupied by work and they seem to be doing it diligently. For my review I chose only a dessert which is the apple pie with some vanilla ice cream. The cake has a wonderful look with a darker color crust on the top which is covered in powder sugar. The apple is rich in its flavour and well seasoned with cinnamon. The whole thing mixes very well with the vanilla ice cream. The only downfall for me of the cake was the height of the apple layer, I would recommend the chef to reduce just 1/5 of that and they would have a perfect balance. Incredible restaurant with great Silesian food and an amazing feel. Its interior is based on the best Vienna cafes. We had an amazing experience here eating the classics of the Silesian cuisine - Kluski Śląskie i Rolada z Modro Kapusta. Very tasty dish that comes with a supplelemntary soup. The chicken soup (rosół) was very flavorful and you could taste it was made with a couple of different meats (super good!). My girlfriend and I were excited to come to this cafe as it was recommended to us. My girl friend needed to use the bathroom and when she was finished one of the staff started yelling at her in polish, which we don’t speak polish, the woman started talking to the staff and they were all looking at her and laughing.
