Tatiana — Restaurant in Katowice

I recently dined at this restaurant and it was truly an outstanding experience! From the moment I stepped in, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my dining experience memorable.

One thing that stood out was how accommodating the restaurant was to our request to share an appetizer and main dish. The server took note of our preference and served the appetizer and main dish on two separate plates, making it easy for us to share without any hassle. It was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly welcomed.

And let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious! The presentation of the dishes was also visually appealing, adding to the overall dining experience.

As if that wasn't enough, the dessert was the highlight of the meal! The meringue with earl grey cream was a culinary masterpiece that left us speechless. The flavors were rich and balanced, and the presentation was exquisite. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal.

Overall, I cannot praise this restaurant enough for their outstanding service, delectable food, and attention to detail. It was truly an exemplary dining experience that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience...

My worst experience in the last 2 years in the world. EMERGENCY: to open a traditional restaurant in Katovice because this awful Tatiana has no concorrents in pedestrian area.

Histeric and snob waitress unprofessional and without culture, treated me with aggressive mood and even replied me unpolite just because I asked a normal towel and not of paper when EVERYBODY else had it made of cotton.

I just asked if possible to switch because there were about 20 seats empty with cotton towels not used and it was already 9PM. She before said no and after yes but dropping it on the table with aggressive way and scaring face, then running to gossip to the owner(?) like a stupid child speaking badly about me. And I could see this sad scene from the sliding doors. Unbelievable.

I did not want the cotton one anymore and she even did not ask sorry and kept arguing. I run away with sick stomach almost throwing out after such offenses.

After 10 minutes I found a burger house where waiters are so kind that asked me sorry before in case the service is late.

Avoid Tatiana but open immediately some more traditional restaurants in center for sake...

If you are in Katowice, go to Tatiana, it was my personal highlight of the weekend trip and it´s exactly what I look for, when I go on vacation.

The ambiente is very rustical-modern-romantic, which I liked a lot and we even could sit outside later, where it´s same, comfy and nice.

The waiters are all very nice and sympatic, mainly the one we had on the evening, who chatted with us (I love to exchange infos with the locals) and who told us, that Tatiana is the oldest restaurant in the city.

When it comes to the food and drinks, I would give it a 9 out of 10. My personal highlight was defenitely the beef tartare, which was exceptional, the pork belly was nice, but too mild in taste, for my perosnal taste. The pork chop was amazing and I totally recommend it, the boar roulade was nice, but nothing special.

We had a very nice polish wine called Solaris, which was a little bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it, finished by perfectly served vodka (Chopin, Belvedere and Okowita) and a nice Negroni.

Overall I would go to Katowice just for having dinner at Tatiana...
