Wiejska Chatka — Restaurant in Katowice

We did ordered a dish of the day which was white vegetables soup(mash blended) and it was very good and best of what we had. Later potato pancakes with goulash beef was okay decsent portion. Taste was good nothing stand out. Next was dish of the day grouse stomach goulash in bread...and it was not good wired in taste and whats worst my girl eate literary like 3 forks of it and she went 10 mins later cant walk couse of toilet emergency. I felt better but it was feeling that my body didnt like it and wana get ride of it asap for moat of the day.. Overal 3/10 for food service was great on spot. Place looks nice and cose but we smelled the restaurant on our clothes for next full two day after one 45/50 min visit. Sadly on a trip cant wash a jacket and only...

The food is traditional food but the quality is quite standard, nothing very surprising. The waiters team was form by 3 ladies and one guy. The waiter man was very impolite and rude. I order a soup and a main dish. The soup was really hot, so I could make a phone call (of course not speaking loudly and respecting the atmosphere), and when I could start to eat the soup, they brought me the main dish. When I told to the guy, that I hoped that the main dish did not become cold, he told me quite defiant: you must eat instead of speaking by phone, and that the soup are always hot. I dont know if was an act of racism or just lack of profesionalism. I ender up eating my lach in a very bad mood. I Will not recommend this...

Very impressive. I’m writing this before our main course even arrives because everything else has already been so good. I’m sure the main course will be equally impressive. Beautiful decor and atmosphere and very good food for reasonable prices. —- Ok now we’ve had the main course, and as expected it was incredible. Everything we tasted here is excellent. As a summary, the ambiance is excellent, the service is excellent, the food is excellent and the amenities are excellent (they even have extra diapers in the diaper changing station). If I could give 10 stars, I would. Highly recommended! We will be back next time we come...
