Restauracja Da Vinci — Restaurant in Kołobrzeg

Unfortunately this was our only BAD experience dining out in Kolobrzeg - and we did visit at least 5 other restaurants. Food at Da Vinci was avarage (spaghetti Vegetarian and Carbonare) - but in all fairness the kids really liked their meals (They ate Spaghetti Bolognese).

The biggest issue here was that they tried to "hustle" us for our change after having paid. The bill was around 80 zloty and we did put a 100 zloty note in the litte box with the bill. Then it was returned to a female waitress at the bar and then we waited. And surprisingly they did not return it. When we asked for our change back, they put less than the correct amount in the box and gave it to us again. We did not notice this till we had left the restaurant and with two tired kids, we decided it was not worth walking back for.

So be aware that they might try to hustle you for small change. If the owner would like to look into how his staff managed our experience, he should look into the level of service on the 20th of july 2019, around lunch time (1 o'clock), which was when we were eating at Da Vinci. Our first. And last time. We did tip all waiters in other restaurants in Kolobrzeg, but of course we decide what we want to tip...

PS. If we were to only review the food and not the hustle, they would have been given ** for...

Wir waren gerade erst in dem "Restaurant" weil wir schön italienisch Essen wollten. Ok, der Reihe nach. Wein: leider gibt es nur eine Sorte Wein auf der Karte und dieser auch nur halbtrocken. Da ich jetzt nicht wusste ob er schmeckt, wollte ich einen kleinen Schluck probieren, was aber sofort verneint wurde. Glücklicherweise haben wir auch nur ein Glas bestellt statt 0,5l. Pizza: Die Pizza war lecker, wie bei vielen anderen Italiener auch. Also Pluspunkt. Salat: Der Salat hatte leider nicht viel Geschmack, weder die Tomaten, noch hatte der Eisbergsalat biss. Das Industrie Dressing gehört nicht auf einen Italienischen Salat. Wir haben hier eher ein Olivenöl erwartet, statt french Dressing oder was es war. Dazu gab es Mangostücke, die hätte man es nicht gewusst, auch als Kohlrabi durchgehen können. Mango muss weich sein und nicht Stein hart. Die beiden Knoblauch Baguettes gingen gar nicht. Vom Geruch lecker, aber Geschmacklich waren sie bereits einige Tage alt. Schade. Die Bolognese: Die Bolognese konnte man auf jeden Fall essen. Wobei ich hier erwähnen muss, dass die Nudeln 2 Minuten hätten länger im Wasser liegen können, bis sie Al Dente gewesen wären. Bissfest neu definiert aber die Bolognese hat es nochmal raus gehauen. Bruschetta: Die Baguettes hier waren eher etwas weicher. Alles in allem ganz gut, aber geschmacklich kein Highlight. Dessert: gab es leider nicht Ich behaupte, dass es sich hier um einen Imbiss handelt und nicht um ein Italienisches Restaurant. Die Preise waren wirklich gut, aber ich bazahle lieber etwas mehr für etwas mehr Qualität...

Dramat. Najgorszy z lokali, który odwiedziłem podczas ostatniego urlopu. Jedynie drinki były naprawdę dobrze. Zamówione makarony były za słone i puszczały bardzo dużo wody. Gdyby nie miały w sobie tyle soli - byłby po prostu poprawne, a tak były ledwo zjadliwe.

Najgorsza była jednak obsługa kelnerska. Pani, która przyniosła karty była bardzo miła, jednak później obsługę naszego stolika przejęła inna kelnerka, która była ewidentnie zdenerwowana i obrażona tym, że musi nas obsługiwać. Narzeczona zamówiła pół litra wina. Dostała kieliszek. Gdy zwróciłem na to uwagę kelnerka się opryskliwie zaśmiała i powiedziała "dziękuję", po czym odeszła. Co prawda, wszystko zostało rozliczone jak należy, jednak ignorowanie klienta i odchodzenie w momencie, gdy się do kelnera mówi, jest trochę nie na miejscu.

No i kwestia rozliczenia. Kelnerka nie zapytała się czy mamy ochotę na coś jeszcze, czy życzymy sobie rachunek. Po skończonym posiłku w ciągu 2 minut przyniosła nam zamknięty rachunek. Nigdy się z czymś takim nie spotkałem. Gdy przyniosła resztę, poinformowała mnie, że wydała mi za dużo, bo nie miała drobnych i że muszę jej oddać. Gdybym nie miał drobnych miałbym zostawić wymuszony napiwek z banknotów, czy może miałbym prosić pozostałych gości o rozmienienie pieniędzy?

Gdyby nie obsługa kelnerska, zapewne...
