I’m Thai and this is my first day visiting this city. I read reviews looking for a Thai restaurant and chose to have dinner here – my very first meal of the trip. When I arrived, the restaurant was nicely decorated, but after that, I was not impressed at all.

The service was very poor and the staff was rude. A female staff member with a mole on her left cheekbone and long hair down to her mid-back (she didn’t have a name tag on her uniform) came to suggest a 130 zt set menu. She told me it included a “Thai soup.” I asked what kind of soup it was, but she didn’t know.

While I was still deciding what to eat, she seemed unwilling to wait and said she would come back later. So I hurriedly ordered: Pad Kra Pao and Tom Yum hot pot. She told me it was shabu. I asked her to tell the chef to make it Thai-style (because every Thai restaurant I’ve been to before always offers this option for Thai people), but she quickly replied that every dish tastes the same for everyone, no difference whether Thai or not. She also said all the ingredients are imported directly from Thailand. (Really?)

She argued with me about everything, to the point where I felt like walking out and not eating at all. I went ahead and ordered the Tom Yum hot pot, which had no price listed. When the bill came, it was 200 zt. The menu said it included tiger prawns, but from what I saw, the prawns were small and pale orange — they did not look like tiger prawns. The salmon in the dish was also just tiny scraps, even smaller than diced cubes.

I was completely disappointed. I won’t return to this place again during my 10-day stay here. First time and last time. I’m sad because I truly wanted to support a Thai restaurant, but it ended up being a waste of time, money, and feelings. The ingredients didn’t match the menu at all.

ฉันเป็นคนไทยและมาเที่ยวที่เมืองนี้วันแรก อ่านรีวิวหาร้านอาหารไทยและฉันเลือกทานอาหารที่นี่มื้อเย็น มื้อแรกของการเดินทางมาถึง และเมื่อฉันมาถึงร้าน ร้านตกแต่งสวยงาม แต่หลังจากนั้นฉันไม่มีความประทับใจอะไรเลย เพราะพนักงานบริการแย่มาก พูดจาไม่ดี ผู้หญิงคนที่มีไฝตรงโหนกแก้มข้างซ้าย ผมยาวประมาณกลางหลัง (ไม่มีป้ายชื่อเธอบนปกเสื้อ) เธอมาเสนอแนะเมนูเซทให้ฉัน 130zt เธอบอกฉันว่ามี Thai soup ฉันถามเธอว่าซุปอะไร เธอไม่ทราบ ฉันกำลังเลือกว่าฉันจะทานเมนูอะไรดี เธอก็ดูไม่อยากรอรับออเดอร์ จะมาใหม่อีกครั้ง ฉันเลยรีบสั่งอาหาร สั่งผัดกระเพรา และต้มยำหม้อไฟ เธอบอกฉันว่ามันคือชาบู และฉันบอกเธอว่า ช่วยบอกเชฟได้ไหมว่าขอรสชาติคนไทย(เพราะฉันไปทุกร้านที่เป็นร้านไทยเขาบอกว่าสามารถบอกได้ว่าเป็นคนไทยเชฟจะทำรสชาติไทยให้) เธอรีบตอบกลับมาว่าอาหารทุกจานคือรสชาติเดียวกันหมด ไม่ได้มีความแตกต่างระหว่างคนไทยหรือคนไหนๆและวัตถุดิบส่งตรงมาจากไทย(จริงเหรอ) ฉันสั่งเมนูต้มยำหม้อไฟ แต่ไม่มีบอกราคา ปรากฏพอเช็คบิล ราคาต้มยำ200zt ในเมนูลงว่า กุ้งลายเสือ แต่ฉันดูแล้วไม่น่าจะใช่กุ้งลายเสือ และแซลมอลที่ลงในเมนูก็คือเศษแซลมอลชิ้นเล็กกว่าลูกเต๋า ฉันเสียความรู้สึกทุกอย่าง ฉันจะไม่กลับไปทานที่นี่อีกในขณะที่ฉันพักที่นี่10วัน มาครั้งแรกและครั้งเดียวพอ เสียใจที่อยากอุดหนุนร้านไทย แต่เสียเวลา เสียความรู้สึก เสียดายเงิน และวัตถุดิบไม่ตรงปก

ปล.เราไม่ได้ต้องการที่จะให้เชฟมาบริการเรานะคะ เราถามแค่ว่ามีคนไทยที่สามารถพูดไทยได้ไหม พนักงานคุณตอบว่ามีเชฟ เราก็อ้อ เชฟหรือใครก็ได้ เราอยากแจ้งว่าขอรสขาติแบบคนไทยได้ไหม เราไม่ได้ต้องการการบริการแบบเริศหรูว่าฉันเป็นคนไทย ขอแค่รสชาติ เพราะไปร้านไทยหลายร้านร้านให้แจ้งว่ารสชาติขอสำหรับคนไทย เพราะบางร้านจะแจ้งว่า ถ้าไม่แจ้งจะเป็นรสชาติของคนที่นี่ และเราไม่ได้แจ้งว่าเราเป็นบล็อกเกอร์จะมารีวิวอะไรค่ะ เรามาเที่ยวมาทานเป็นปกติ มาจ่ายเงินปกติ...

I truly can’t express how amazing the food here is. I lived in Thailand for over a year and immediately became a regular from my first visit as this is hands down the best thai food in Poland with an emphasis on authenticity and freshness of ingredients. They do not cut any corners and you can truly see and feel the passion they have for thai cuisine. The chefs are thai which speaks volumes for the authenticity they are seeking to convey and on top of that they receive weekly imports of fresh ingredients from Thailand. A MUST try for anyone who is a fan of thai cuisine or looking to expand their palette. My go to for recommendations is the Green Curry with Beef, Tom Yum with Shrimp, Woo Sen Salad, and Yellow Curry with Egg Noodles Chiang Mai style for those that cannot tolerate spiciness. Recently they had oysters off menu which were not only fresh but absolutely delicious accompanied by authentic thai seafood sauces which only brought me back as if I was in Thailand. Dumplings just like boiled pork, dry and tasteless. Staff were not really friendly and attentive when serving. The drinks and main course saved our evening. I only took pictures of two main dishes that I liked.And ask the Thai people who work at your place about their feelings about the food. I am sure the culinary culture and what they have enjoyed in Thailand is more wonderful than those dumplings. Google has a review function so that each person can give an objective feeling about the experience and food there. I write a review does not mean that I admit that I am too knowledgeable about any cuisine. Do not equate opinions with each other. When you go to eat anywhere, of course you have the need to eat, maybe hungry, finish all the dishes to avoid waste and appreciate the money you worked for as well as appreciate the chef's cooking.
