We had heard great things about this restaurant and were eager to experience it for ourselves. We made a reservation for a party of 8, but to our disappointment, we were seated in a cramped corner near the terrace exit, even though there were many empty tables available that evening. Despite the tight area, we liked the modern and inviting interior design, and the menu sounded quite nice and we were looking forward to a nice evening.

However, our visit had several disappointing occurrences:

The waitress took orders for drinks and starters for our initial group of 5, with the remaining guests joining us later. 10 minutes after taking our order, she returned to inform us that no white tea was available. I ordered green tea instead. Our starters arrived after about 40 minutes. Our drinks were served after our food. My tea, unfortunately, arrived even later than that. When our friends arrived they had questions about the dishes but the waiter was struggling to answer them as he didn't have much knowledge about the menu. Over 1 hour later after our table was cleared from the starters, our main courses were finally brought to our table, but the waiter seemed unfamiliar with the dishes and couldn't provide their names. 1 dish was completely forgotten, and no apology or explanation was offered. We had to wait for over 25 minutes while others at the table had finished their meals. I ordered the beef cheeks, expecting them to be tender and soft, but they turned out to be hard and chewy. While some other dishes were good, no dish was amazing. Waiters didn't have knowledge about the wines. Throughout the meal, the waiters didn't ask if we wanted additional drinks. Waiters were kind of avoiding our table. When clearing the table not all empty plates were taken. The restaurant had an unpleasant smell coming from the open kitchen, and even the open terrace doors didn't help. Our clothes were smelling. There were more service mishaps during the evening, but I do not want to go into details.

Overall the service was very chaotic, unorganised and not trained well for such a restaurant that ask higher prices. There was no manager around to guide that evening. Therefore our experience at Sady Bistro was not a good one and it's unlikely that we will return...

I am upset that I can only give 3 stars, actually it should be not more than 2,5 but well… I was really looking forward to visit Sady, cozy interior invites you from the outside, good reviews, but… let me explain why rated poorly despite really delicious food, great concept of the restaurant. We booked the table in advance, when arrived to the restaurant it looked like they did not have a place for us, so nervous looking for alternatives where to sit us down, luckily we got the table after 5 mins. Menu is pretty vast, so everyone will find something (vegan options avail). I have ordered Schabowy, really tasty and well seasoned tender meat with decent side dishes (mashed potatoes could be creamier tho, as there were few lumps). Rib Eye well prepared, but for sake please provide with the steak knifes so guests do not need to scratch your good looking plates ;) Vegan options: Chrzanowka and 3 cabbages were delicious (according to our vegan expert). Now the main things that took away from the great experience: we totally get people can be new to the job and stressed, but take it easy, as when you run like a headless chicken you make situation looks worse (to our waiters), make sure you do not take the empty glasses IMMEDIATELY after we had our last sip, it looks like you do not have enough plates/glasses and leaves a bad taste. Waiting for food is way longer than in other places, if you could notify and communicate longer waiting time due to the busy time, we would not have ANY problem with it. Last but not least, just try to take it easy and smile, you create the ambience of the place, contribute to the whole experience and in this case service ruined it totally, sorry. We hope to be back in some time to see if service improved as restaurant has...

The place itself looks nice and had nice Christmas decorations. The service started off good, but they were very slow to bring anything to us. We asked for a highchair for our daughter, and it took a long time to bring it.

They have a good choice of drinks and the cider was very nice. The other drinks we had were quite good too.

When the starter had been prepared the staff were taking pictures of the dishes and we had already been waiting some time. The dishes themselves were underwhelming and it seemed like they went for appearance rather than taste. The bagel on the Umami Egg dish was burnt and nothing had any great taste.

Mains arrived shortly after the starters, and again we were quite disappointed. The schnitzel tasted burnt and was dry as well as the emulsion on top not really fitting to the dish. The side salads were the same as the ones on the starters and were nothing special.

At the end of the meal, we had a strange interaction with the waitor as he was quite rude when we decided to pay by cash instead of card. It should be a simple change, but he made a bit problem out of it.

They are close to being good, but they made mistakes with the food which shouldn't happen in a place where they are trying to be 'fancy'. Some work is definitely needed on their end and we won't be returning...

Jeśli restauracją - zbyt amatorsko i wolno.
