Terrible Experience – Overcharged 3 Times!

I visited Lizbona O’Bella Ciao in Rzeszów with my family on Friday, 29 August 2025, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a restaurant.

The service was very poor – we had to call the waiter around 10 times just to get one order. But the real problem was with the payment. When paying, the waiter brought one card machine and said the payment was declined. Then he brought another machine – again it showed declined the first time, and only on the second attempt did the payment finally go through.

Later, I checked my bank statement and discovered that I had been charged three times for the same bill (£62.65 each, total £187.95). Even stranger, one charge shows under Lizbona’s name, but the other two appeared under a different restaurant next door called La Sueva.

This feels like a complete scam and a terrible way to treat tourists. Be very careful if you decide to eat here – always check your bank statement afterwards. I absolutely do not...

As a café it might be good. As a restaurant it's not.

They tried to bring the starters and the main dishes all at the same time (the starters should be always first, so you don't it your main dish cold). The space is very little, all the time you have someone pushing you walking around so it's very uncomfortable to eat (we had next to us a table for 4 people with about 8 on them, so every time someone was standing from the table, they were pushing everyone). Too much noise in general and the tables are really small. The experience was really bad. We has a huge hair in the middle of the food so we returned one of the dishes (they didn't even realise). We also ordered paella with seafood, but the seafood was totally tasteless.

I enjoyed my stay at this place, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive towards customers. Prices are mostly affordable. When it comes to the food i ordered:

Ribeye - which turned out to be great and really well seasoned appetizer, portion was quite big too.

Grilled Zander Asparagus - this one was good but not great, felt like the dish was made before and re heated in microwave, meat tasted well but asparagus was very rubbery, also i found a hair in my dish which didn't help. I really liked the sauce that came with the dish and the portion was medium sized.

Overall good choice to spend time with friends/family but try to avoid...
