Banjaluka — Restaurant in Warsaw

We saw another hipster place and thought it would be similar to the other places we visited. But unfortunately that was not the case. Horrible experience. When me and my friend entered the restaurant's garden, the first waitress realized we spoke English to each other, although I also speak Polish myself, and she just walked away to come back and throw English menus on the table. Then, she never came back, although we clearly decided and tried to get her attention. After that we had to try to get the other waiters and other personel to notice us, which was also strange because their clothes were all different, like there were three sorts of working teams or a difference in hierarchy. Anyway, mostly we were ignored, luckily the nice tall man with the beard responded to us and took our order (not in his section) which came fast and was nice. After that we had to ask a few different people for the bill before we finally got it. When we paid the waiter, he didn't even look at us or said anything like thanks. We left in a bit of a shock, although we're not easily offended. All in all a bad experience, especially because we had this quite great experience with other 'hipster-restaurants' in Warsaw. One positive note: the toilets were clean and the girls who worked inside the restaurant...

Solid place. My wife and I have been trying to eat here for a few months after being turned down at the door and over the phone. It seems like every time we call they are too busy. But I think it mostly gets lost in translation cause when we went in for our reservation for two we made the day prior they seated a random party of 14.

The food is solid, the waiting staff are great. We had a waiter named Eryk that was attentive, friendly, and spoke good English.

We plan on coming again to complete our Go-Out coupons we have with them and will likely go again in the future with friends.

Apparently they have live music every night. There's a band with a young lead singer that seems to be bouncing around from restaurant to restaurant with a great voice. I'd give them a Google Review as...

Przyszliśmy do restauracji w piątek o 18:00. Naszym zdaniem na werandzie było wiele wolnych stolików bez oznaczenia rezerwacji, jednak nie pozwolono nam wybrać i kazano usiąść przy konkretnym stoliku dla dwóch osób z warunkiem, że będziemy tam tylko do 19:30, co nas zasmuciło. Ostatecznie zauważyłam, że w środku restauracji było dużo wolnego miejsca, jednak obsługa restauracji nam tego nie zaproponowała. Posadzono nas obok hałaśliwej grupy, przez co nie było zbyt komfortowo rozmawiać. Zupa rybna była mała, z jedną krewetką i kilkoma małżami, a smak nie zrobił na nas dużego wrażenia. Uscipci okazały się 4-6 kotlecikami z ziemniakami i małą sałatką, smaczne, ale za taką cenę raczej prosto podane i niezbyt sycące. Podsumowując, restauracja nie zrobiła na nas większego wrażenia, ceny są wyższe od średnich. Na plus przynoszą wodę dla psów.

We arrived at the restaurant on Friday at 6 PM. In our opinion, there were many free tables on the terrace without reservation signs, but we were not allowed to choose one and were told to sit at a specific table for two with the condition that we stay only until 7:30 PM, which was disappointing. In the end, I noticed that there was plenty of free space inside the restaurant, but the staff never offered us that option. We were seated next to a noisy group, which made it uncomfortable to talk. The fish soup was small in portion, with only one shrimp and a couple of mussels, and the taste was not particularly impressive. The "Uscipci" turned out to be 4-6 patties with potatoes and a small salad, tasty but simply served and not filling for the price. In conclusion, the place did not impress us much; the prices are above average. On the plus side, they do bring water for dogs.

Пришли в ресторан в пятницу в 6 вечера. По нашему мнению на веранде было много свободных столов без метки резервации , однако выбрать нам не дали и сказали сесть за конкретный стол на два человека, что опечалило. Посадили нас рядом с шумной компанией , было не совсем комфортно общаться. Рыбный суп был небольшой по объему, одна креветка , пару мидий , по вкусу не сильно впечатлил. Uscipci по факту оказалось 4-6 котлеток с картошкой и горским салатом, вкусно, однако за такую цену простовато сервировано и не сытно. По итогу могу сказать что заведение не сильно впечатлило, ценники выше среднего. Из плюсов приносят...
