Casa Italia — Restaurant in Warsaw

This restaurant is actually ran by some Italians and you can tell that by the food: it tastes just like in Italy. I had some amazing salmon pasta with zucchini - I totally recommend that. Tasty, juicy, lots of big pieces of fish, just perfect!

Price: The place is not expensive - I'd say the same prices as most of the decent places in Warsaw.

Staff: They're very helpful, our nice waitress helped us with the menu, made us separate bills to pay as we wished (we were 6 persons) and had a lot of patience with us.

Oh, a tip: they have gelato (home-)made in Italy even with flavors of rosemary and basil, which is clearly...

Absolutely overpriced for the quality level! We were 5 adults and 2 kids, had to wait for more than half an hour, then after the starter the food was not given to all people at once, and one kid had to wait for 15 min more for her pizza after everyone was done. The quality of the food was terrible. Some had their food served cold (mussels), my tuna was absolutely over cooked and tastless(but costed 75zl...), And the pizza was soggy and half cooked. We had dinner at Casa Italia. The service was very slow and the food did not arrive at the same time. We ordered risotto Barolo which was supposed to be made with Barolo wine. Instead, we have received sweet risotto made with black currant juice. When we complained, the waitress claimed that this is how it is supposed to be. My husband is Italian and we know this is NOT how it’s supposed to be. We left the plate and didn’t expect to be charged for it. To our surprise it was included in the bill.
