If you’re craving steak, this is supposedly one of the best places for beef in all of Warsaw. It is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive by Poland standards (about average if you’re a Westerner or using other higher value currency versus the zloty). By far my most expensive meal in Poland. I got the tomahawk steak, which was good, but a bit fatty & not quite as tasty as its American equivalent in my opinion (no offense, the US just has very high quality beef…).

The fresh baked bread & DELICIOUS whipped garlic butter was a highlight, actually.

I got the cheese empanadas as an appetizer. Fried dough filled with provolone cheese (tho it didn’t quite taste like actual provolone to me), corn, olives & served with a creamy, semi-sweet, spicy sauce to dip, & little frozen chunks of green apple, which balanced the salty & sweet nicely.

Black Angus (I have my doubts on this being certified) Tomahawk steak was massive (about 700g…1.5lbs w/ bone). Meat was tender & well seasoned. Cooked a perfect medium as requested, with nicely caramelized fat around the edges. A little fatty/ gristly in the interior of the cut, but still PLENTY of meat to last me for 2 meals, honestly. I had this with French fries

I ordered both the poivre (French pepper) sauce- I didn’t care for it, a little on the sweet side & too creamy for me & the chimichurri sauce (this was a green Argentinian seasoning & table sauce, made of olive oil, parsley, fresh garlic & oregano, tho it tasted like it was missing the red wine vinegar, it was still very tasty)

I also had a side of green beans/ string beans, which had a bit too many peppers in it for my taste.

They had an extensive liquor selection, including EXCELLENT Blanton’s bourbon which, though of course very expensive so far from its native Kentucky USA, is hard to find even in the states (& worth it for this bourbon-loving, homesick Yank)

With coke & coffee & sparkling water, the total was 438 zloty (~ $108 USD in Dec 2021) without gratuity. Easily 5-10x a more basic, local meal without expensive imported booze.

But, this was a bit of a splurge for me. Service was warm/ welcoming/ friendly, with English spoken. Ambiance was comfortable & high end. Location was very central, nearby the Novotel where I was staying in Warsaw Centrum.

If you’re craving a quality steakhouse experience with a great liquor/ wine menu, & money is no object, this might be the...

The food is ok-ish, but they should learn how to cook the meat properly since my husband's meat was overcooked while mine undercooked. The portions are small and the quality price ratio is very low. They overcharge for small portions. We went with finebyte so we got discount but full price is high. The HUGE problem of this restaurant is he service! Terrible! Worst experience ever. The waiter kept pitching upgrades or more expensive items to have the bill go up. I ordered the rostbef. Apparently, it was the cheapest option out of the meal dishes and apparently the waiter was not happy about that. He claimed that such meat is "hard to chew" and that of course he would recommend more expensive cuts. It was not about the money, simply I wanted that meat. I did not listen the waiter and got my rostbeef, which I always liked and never had problems with. My husband ordered the filet mignon, big portion so you know? It's not about the money. At the end it was ok, apart from the way it was cooked. Also, if it is so terrible why are you selling it? During the meal he kept pitching products. And of course he was not very glad we would not upgrade our dining experience. 🤣🤣🤣 He was kinda rude with us during the entire thing. A colleague jumped in at the end for the bill. Omg, that was the best part. We noticed there was the service charge of 10%. Of course since the service was terrible we did not want to pay that. It is obligatory only if 3+ people. We asked to remove it and the drama happened. Suddenly he would not understand us, we had to repeat several times. Upset he would take the bill and throw it on the table after reading the charge to remove it. Truly offended, he made us pay and left without a word. Are we serious about that??? The interior is fancy and quite nice but food average and service awful....

I really wanted to have a good steak that evening. We picked this place, because it was ranked #3 steakhouse in Warsaw on Tripadvisor. We ordered two starters and two main courses. I specifically asked the server for a good steak. The starters were fine. Unfortunately, my steak was really bad. It's hard to describe it in words, but if you've had different steaks around the world, you can tell a good steak from a bad steak. No flavor whatsoever. Awful. Since I wanted to have a good steak and I picked a highly ranked steakhouse, I called the server and asked him to take my plate, because I was not going to eat something like that. I asked if he could get me anything to eat in not more than 15 minutes. He said no, because they had a group coming in. So I just asked for the bill. He came back a few minutes later saying that the cook told him the steak was fine, so they would not remove it from the bill. I was shocked. I had not asked them to remove it from the bill. It would've been nice if they had, though. But if the server tells you the steak was good after you complained about the taste of it, you know you came to the wrong place! I understand it's hard to consistently serve great food in a restaurant, but if you can't manage such situations, you don't deserve to be ranked so high. I will never visit this...

Podano nam croquettes z dorsza i z prosciutto. I tu muszę przyznać rozczarował mnie sandacz. Nie do końca doprawiony, mam wrażenie, plus oczekiwałam jakiegoś innego sposobu podania niż w 90% przybytków z daniami z ryb (włączając 90% gospodarstw domowych).

I had dinner at pimiento in Krakow a couple of days ago and was hoping for similar quality and atmosphere but I was disappointed. Terrible meat, full of fat, so chewy and so hard to cut. I requested for medium well and got it so undercooked. I asked for a lean piece of meat and was recommended their tenderloin but it had so much fat. The entrecôte was even worse. As for the atmosphere the waiters seem like they are so stressed out and running between tables and the bar. One of the waiters was packing food for another table infront of customers instead of in the kitchen. As we entered there was nobody to greet us we just stood there for a good 2 minutes before somebody came. It was just a mess and I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. I’m trying to think of anything good maybe the mashed potatoes but that was after I added some salt and pepper to them. I was craving delicious steak and with only 2 days left for me in Warsaw ( on vacation ) it’s a huge waste when I could have tried somewhere else. The ratings on this place are very misleading.
