Trattoria Da Antonio is a spacious restaurant with a large main hall, two additional rooms, and outdoor seating. However, our experience began on a strange note — no one greeted us at the entrance, despite the visible host stand. We waited awkwardly until a waiter noticed us and asked us to wait again while he checked for available tables, even though the restaurant was far from full. Eventually, we were shown to a table in the middle of the dining room, although there were clearly better spots by the windows.
There is a children’s play area with plenty of toys, which is a nice feature for families. Shortly after we sat down, the staff brought us a warm ciabatta as a complimentary starter — a thoughtful touch.
We ordered several dishes: vitello tonnato, risotto al porcini, spaghetti carbonara, surf & turf, and pizza capricciosa. While the presentation was consistent across the board, the quality of the dishes varied. The vitello tonnato, risotto, and carbonara were truly delicious — rich in flavor and well balanced. In contrast, the pizza and surf & turf were underwhelming and felt rather generic in both flavor and execution.
Partway through our meal, a nearby group became so loud that we asked to be moved to another table. Thankfully, the staff was accommodating and helped us relocate without issue.
In the end, while there were definite highlights — especially the risotto and carbonara — our overall impression was mixed. The restaurant has potential, but service consistency and attention to detail could use...
Read moreI’ve already been to this place. For the first time when I came there, I was satisfied with delicious food, good service and pretty cozy atmosphere. Burt it was on 26th on June. Today I came there again for good food but I hadn’t even tried it. Me and my friend decided to sit down at the table with a couch but it wasn’t cleaned up yet. So we sat and waited for a waiter/waitress. Firstly, the waitress came to us and suggested us to change the table for 2 people instead of the chosen one for 4 people. I told her that I had already been in their restaurant before, and that I was sat at the table for 4 people, even though there were two of us. She was like “OK, I will clean up this table in 10 minutes”. And we said “No problem”. Then the other waiter came to us and suggested to sit down at the other table. I kindly refused, explaining that we chose this table because of the couch and the window view. He started aggressively cleaning up the table, threw the menu on the table. I did understand that it was done on purpose, he wanted to show us his anger. Dear friends, I’m not saying I couldn’t make concessions, but I was working as a waitress as well, and I know that it’s unacceptably to behave like this in relation to the client. I would be fired if I gave such an attitude as this waiter and his colleague. Ultimately, we just left the restaurant with true disgust...
Read moreIf that would be possible, i would give zero star. I simple cannot believe how this restaurant can have so high reviews. Firstly, when we sit on the terrace, we waited about 10 minutes, we saw how the stuff is inside and is sitting around table. Then I come inside and ask, if we can be outside, than we got the menu. We ordered 2 soup and 2 main dishes (pasta and salad). We recieved soup after about 15-20 minutes, when one was hot and the second was cold. When I asked for second beer, when we finished soup and i was holding empty beer glass in my hand, she said of course and she bring us a water. Then after total 45 minutes and no main food, even when people which come after us, was already eating, we decided to give up and leavy. And funny part, meals was probably not even in process of making :) So no, I would never go to this "restaurant" again and in my honest opinion I really cannot recomend anyone to try to eat there. In Warsaw is a lot of restaurant, dont get...
