I used to buy pastries from this place once or twice a week, but today I had a very unpleasant experience. When I arrived, I greeted this dark-haired woman behind the counter with dzień dobry, but she looked at me with clear disgust, kept a grumpy expression, and didn’t respond.
I still went ahead and pointed to the pastry I wanted, even making sure to pronounce its name correctly. She kept replying in Polish impatiently, and when she went for the wrong pastry, I pointed again. Instead of correcting it normally, she sighed loudly, mumbled something in Polish, and pulled faces as if she was annoyed at me.

Read moreGreat Sicilian and generally Italian sweets. The cannoli are perfect. They also sell small ones for those who enjoy a different crunchy/creamy ratio. Torta caprese (in two versions: lemon, chocolate). Coda d'arragosta - something that can only be enjoyed when absolutely fresh. Those are the highlights for me. Some choux pastries in different flavours, Mimosa cake - also decent. I don't like the cassata but that's on me.
What ruins the overall experience is not the humbleness of the place, the hidden location, the takeaway style even when you sit down on the small terrace (3-4 tables), it's the staff at the counter.
I feel really sorry for those who make the fantastic sweets at the adjacent bakery because their efforts are sabotaged by the arrogant, downright rude staff. No smile, no friendliness, no patience. They speak like machines and they act as if you were bothering them.
That's why I can't give full 5 stars and I'd urge the owners to have a serious talk with...

This rude behave happened twice, no more buying. Also I had ordered mango and pistachio eclair but it wasn’t tasty as much as I expected, pistachio cream was kinda like frozen not fluid and this kinda changes the taste of eclair. But dough was fresh and good. I also think mango eclair isn’t much good as a taste, this is because of the mango, it doesn’t...
