We visited this place in the middle of the week. There wasn't a line, but usually there is. The place was very noisy due to loud music. The staff were friendly. We ordered 2 dishes that were in the ramen section. We thought we’re going to get ramen, but what we had pasta mac and cheese with onion, and pumpkin cream soup with chips. We were shocked, but we gave these dishes a chance and in vain. It was terrible. The pasta was supposed to be with nuts and potatoes. There was no nut taste, it was all in the pumpkin cream soup. But instead of potatoes, you get the taste of cheap custard mashed potatoes. And this pasta for 36 zlotys. Tasteless noodles with cheap mashed potatoes. And there had to be ramen. There were also pumpkin cream soup, which was supposed to be ramen too. The soup had a very strong peanut flavor that killed the pumpkin flavor. Also don't forget that they put peanut flavored chips in there. We haven't tried the other three “ramen” on their menu, but something tells me we shouldn't. So if you want to eat ramen, this is not the place. I don’t really know what this restaurant wants to be. Why is there always a line...
Read moreI realised that ramen is very popular among the locals in Warsaw. From the younger generation, to the middle and even some older generations, many came to this place, which surprised me a lot. Besides, this place serves various soups and noodle specialities for vegans. In addition, I was surprised to see that they serve them 24/7, like some of the special genre ramen restaurants in Japan. I found it to be their serious business courage. Another proof of their serious business courage is that they dare to serve real Japanese beer products imported from Japan, even famous canned green tea brands made in Japan, and traditional Japanese soda. Yet the prices are quite reasonable. They have a good balance of indoor and outdoor seating, which seems to attract even pedestrians. The spicy miso broth soup is really hot, but I couldn't believe that the soup was made without animal fat but with vegetable ingredients. That was amazing. I would like to try other flavours of soup they serve next...
Read moreThe place is really busy - we came on Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. and the place was packed. When we were leaving an hour later, there was a long queue to get inside and the place isn't too big and you wait quite long time for the food - we received our ramen soups after more than 30 min. So I wouldn't recommend it as a place for a quick meal. The staff seemed a little annoyed, which can be understandable since the place was packed, but it did made the experience much less pleasant.
Some items of the menu were unavailable (but I'm not sure if it's normal situation or they had just finished that day). We liked the starter (although it was a little too salty for my taste), and we enjoyed the soups. I still prefer the ramen at Uki Uki, but if my vegan friends come to visit me, I'll definitely recommend this place to them. I think the ramen here is...
