La Dolce Vita Restauracja — Restaurant in Warsaw

The food was very good but the reason I give it a very poor review is they were very disingenuous on the bill. I used credit card to pay for it and I asked if I can add a tip to the credit card and they said I could not??? I have been in Warsaw for three weeks and this is the first restaurant where I was not allowed to add the tip to the credit card so I should’ve been suspicious ,,,but I trusted her and I added a generous tip in addition to the credit card bill..Later I find out they already add a 10% service charge. I should’ve known something was suspicious …..because they wouldn’t take a tip on the credit card. The waitress should’ve told me a 10% service charge (tip) was part of the bill and then I still would’ve added another 10% but by not saying anything is kind of slimy,,,,shame on them and shame on me for not realizing the scam. Came yesterday for dinner. When we was ordering, we asked the waitress (Luisa) to get the vegan pasta, her reply was “it finished” and she walked away, without finishing taking our order. Called her later to the table to ask what we can get off the menu that is vegan and her reply was the ravioli (which has Parmesan and cream), the veggie burger (butter and egg in the bun, and cheese inside) and walked away again. We’ve already had our drink and starters so we couldn’t walk away, otherwise we definitely would have. Her tone was extremely condescending, and quite rude. Finally called her and order the bruschetta without the Parmesan and asked if we can get olives on top, in which she replied that she can only put olives on the pizzas very abruptly and she also seemed very frustrated with the whole situation. Ended up not getting anything else, getting the bill and left. Don’t recommend at all....

Avoid this awful rip-off! I had been craving pizza and wanted to spend my last night in Warsaw with a glass of wine and people watching. Instead, the competing street performers made the mood unsettling, the pizza had so much grease I literally poured it off of each slice, the wine was awful (tasted like bad wine that had been left in the sun) and when I asked if the Chianti was any better the waitress refused my ask to stop at a taste and poured me an entire glass that was even worse! Then, to top it all off she charged me for both glasses over my objections. I argued for a minute but rather than escalate an already disappointing evening I just paid it and left.
