Rusiko – A Georgian Feast in the Heart of Warsaw

If you’re looking for a place that transports you straight to the streets of Tbilisi, Rusiko is an absolute must-visit on Warsaw’s culinary map. This Georgian restaurant delights not only with its authentic flavors but also with a warm atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a journey to the heart of the Caucasus.

Flavors That Captivate

One of the standout dishes at Rusiko is khachapuri, which reaches a masterful level here. Perfectly baked, with a crispy crust and wonderfully stretchy cheese, it’s one of those dishes that will keep you coming back for more. Whether you choose the Adjarian, Imeretian, or Megrelian style, each is a little masterpiece.

If you’re a fan of meat dishes, the meat platter at Rusiko is an absolute highlight. Juicy, aromatic cuts of top-quality beef and lamb, perfectly seasoned and served with exquisite sides, make every bite a true delight. The meat is prepared with the utmost care—tender inside, crispy on the outside, and bursting with rich Georgian spices.

The Nectar of the Gods – Coffee & Lemonades

Rusiko serves one of the best coffees in Warsaw—strong, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of coffee that brings to mind the cozy cafés of Georgia, where every sip is a moment of pure enjoyment.

To complement the feast, don’t miss their delicious lemonades—natural, refreshing, and packed with fresh fruits. The pomegranate and mint version is a must-try, pairing beautifully with the rich flavors of Georgian cuisine.

Atmosphere & Service

The interior of Rusiko exudes warmth and authenticity. Wooden accents, subtle references to Georgian culture, and pleasant music create an inviting space where you’ll want to linger. The service? Professional, friendly, and always happy to recommend the best dishes.

Final Verdict

Rusiko is a restaurant that combines the best of Georgian flavors with top-quality ingredients and an unforgettable atmosphere. With its exceptional khachapuri, outstanding meat platter, aromatic coffee, and homemade lemonades, it delivers a flawless culinary experience. This is a place you’ll want to visit—again and again. If you haven’t been there yet, it’s time to...

Rusiko restaurant offers an exquisite culinary journey through the heart of Georgia, and my recent visit left an indelible mark. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The food, a symphony of flavors and textures, surpassed all expectations. Each dish, meticulously crafted with traditional Georgian ingredients and spices, transported me to the vibrant streets of Tbilisi. From the hearty khachapuri to the fragrant khinkali, every bite was a revelation.

Yet, what truly elevated my evening was the impeccable service, spearheaded by the extraordinary waiter, Andrej. His attentive demeanor and genuine passion for hospitality were evident from the outset. Andrej moved through the restaurant with the grace of a dancer, anticipating every need and ensuring that each guest felt like royalty.

Special thanks are owed to Andrej for his exceptional service, which elevated an already stellar dining experience to new heights. His dedication and attention to detail are a testament to the ethos of Rusiko restaurant, where every guest is treated with the utmost care and respect.

In summary, Rusiko restaurant is a gem nestled in the heart of Warsaw. Whether you're a connoisseur of Georgian cuisine or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Rusiko promises to delight all your senses. And to Andrej, the maestro of service, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for an evening I will cherish for...

The place has a real classy restaurant vibe. The atmosphere is great, we particularly loved the carpets that were layed out everywhere. Our waitress was extremely helpful and polite and we were impressed by the place from the very beginning. Everything looks proper and professionally managed.

We initially ordered 2 khinkali portions (they come with 3 pieces each), one Angus beef cooked in walllnut sauce, one Georgian salad and 2 glasses of wine. We were immediately disappointed with the size of the portions vs the prices being asked. The khinkali portion is too small for a main dish. The same can be said for the few little pieces of beef that arrived and the very small salad.

The quality of what we ordered however was excellent and since we were still hungry we ordered another khinkali portion and an Adjarian Khachapuri. Again, both were excellent.

Overall including service we paid about USD100 (400zl) for two people, including a glass of (excellent) Georgian wine each. I feel that for what we got and for a country like Poland, this is excessive. This is an expensive place unless you are prepared to leave feeling hungry.

Would we come again? Probably yes but knowing the above and being careful with what we order.

p.s. I understand that this is common in Poland but for my standards it's unacceptable to charge your clients 20zl = 5 usd for water. Water should be customarily be offered by the house.. This is about principle and hospitality and not...

While on our way back home from a week’s vacation in Italy, we decided to celebrate my birthday a day early at the Georgian restaurant Rusiko. Everything was perfect—from the beautiful interior to the delicious food. After this experience, I’m seriously considering buying tickets to visit Georgia for our next vacation. The Saperavi wine was rich and full of flavor, the food was aromatic and perfectly cooked—and the fact that my picky kids ate everything says it all. I tried khinkali for the first time, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Juicy and flavorful, they were a highlight of the meal. One very important thing to me is that the bathroom was clean. I truly believe that a restaurant that respects itself should never have a dirty restroom. Unfortunately, not all restaurant management thinks the same way—but here, this was not the case. The bathroom was spotless and had a pleasant smell. A big thank you to our waitress, Ira, who guided us through the menu with kindness and helpfulness. She made our visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back when In Warsaw! Thank you and keep doing the great job you do!

This was our second experience with Georgian food and our first visit to Rusiko. We started with a cold dish with slices of eggplant stuffed with some kind of walnut spread, I don't know exactly what it was but it was nicely prepared and full of flavor to accompany this we had a kind of pizza with four cheeses, very yummy! My wife ordered a dish with 5 large prawns in a buttery orange sauce, wonderful flavors, the waiter offered some fresh Georgian bread to soak up the yumminess of the buttery sauce. I ordered a plate of traditional dumplings from Georgia, filled with a delicious blend of meats and some kind of soup stock, moist and full of flavor, wonderfully seasoned. We shared a nice salad with our meal. This was a very pleasant experience, the food was tasty, the restaurant was in a nice large space and was very clean. If you have not had food from Georgia before or even if you have I would highly recommend a visit to Rusiko!
