During our stay in Wroclaw pierogi was must-try meal and we chose Bar Pierożek to be the place. We discovered the place in a book filled with tips of local places at our hotel, but also were given recommendation by local.
The first good sign was that it wasn’t in city center and that we must had walked for a while until we arrived there. The place indeed looked authentic and right away we knew that it is the right place.
The price was pleasent and the food was excellent. We have tried three different variations and all of them tasted delicious. My favorite ones would be the meat filled.
I can imagine being a loyal customer at this business and I have no doubt about coming back again during my next stay in Wroclaw. Definitely recommend trying...
Read moreI wouldn’t think how much I would love this place at first. I had my best polish pierogis here and borszcz was ooooh my god on a chilly rainy day. I also loved their cherry compote. My order was ready quickly and staff is very kind and polite. I observed that many locals were visiting and buy their frozen pierogies to cook them later. The place itself is little, comfortable, very simply arranged and clean. Prices are super affordable. I would visit Wroclav again even solely for this place. It is not a fancy restaurant and but they offer quite a wide selection of traditional Polish dishes (with minor variations), with pierogi being the main offering. The palce offers great value, hearty meals in an informal environment.
