This museum was a lot of fun. Thanks to Olha for providing a detailed tour of all the exhibits. She was very kind and went out of her way to explain all the exhibits. As for the museum itself, it features exhibits like reform-glass, upside down rooms, scanimation, perspective illusions, holograms, puzzles, shadow sculptures, optical illusions, and other things that play tricks on your mind and challenge your everyday assumptions. It fully engages you mentally, and it also has exhibits from previous centuries, which I found interesting because it's amazing to see how people in previous centuries were able to express their creativity via optical illusions with only limited technology. I would recommend getting a tour guide and then treating each exhibit as puzzle to be solved and then asking for the answer when you can't figure it out. Lots of great trinkets and souvenirs that make great gifts. You are free to take pictures of everything in the museum too. It goes without saying that it's better to be in a group if you want to make the most of...
Read moreLocated on the ground floor of an apartment complex is an interesting take on the illusion museum. Instead of having whole thematic sections, which explains the trick it shows the most popular ones with a bit of text of explanation from every concept letting you know what different types there are. Unfortunately due to that there is rarely an immersive feeling, since one step further there is another illusion that makes you forget the previous one which for me is a bit of wasted potential. Overall everything was working, tidy and maintained in good condition so no problems here. However maybe it works better for the children, since they can't concentrate on one thing for too long but for adults I couldn't justify the price of a...
Read moreGood place for tourism in the city. The best part is all the displays are also explained in English. Most displays were interactive & all the kids there were having fun. My son (5 year old) really had a good time there & I also enjoyed myself. Coming on the staff - They are very friendly, courteous & were always on hand to explain what the displays meant & how to interact with it. They even helped in clicking pictures and letting know the correct angle for having a great pic. My kid especially liked the shadow wall. Adult tickets are worth 50 PLN and kindergarten kids is 19 PLN. Overall experience at the Illusion Museum was great. More than an hour spent that was...
