Bistro Stu Mostów — Restaurant in Wrocław

We know better than to eat right off of main squares but we saw a brewery and were interested.

Tasting board of beer is good. Able to pick 4 from their taps. Gooseberry gin cocktail is also good. Have to guess as that part of the menu is only in Polish.

We got a sharing food board. Do not recommend. Ribs are boiled not smoked. Slathered in BBQ to cover the fact they’re not smoked. They are tender which is good. Many ribs still had the silver skin on them before the BBQ bath went on. The fries are from a bag. Not homemade and not seasoned at all. The jalapeño and cheddar sausage is good. The chicken bites are light and good. The cabbage salad has no seasoning but could have been good. The local made bread is the star.

The BBQ sauce is not good. Weird aftertaste. The other two sauces served were not edible. The blue cheese looked and tasted like doctored mayo and the garlic sauce was so seperate it was unappetizing.

Stu Mostów beers are so good, I drink it 1200km away from Wrocław!

I tried for the first time Stu Mostów beers, especially the Pale Ale, while I was in Wrocław last November. It was an amazing discovery!

I drunk hundreds ans hundreds of different kind of beers, and I would say Stu Mostów Pale Ale is in my top 3. I'm drinking it everytime I'm in Wrocław, and ask my girlfriend who's living there, to ship me boxes of beers whenever she can.

Waiters are not willing to fulfill customer orders, but offer their choice by trying to pull customers on bigger bills (instead of beer for 15 PLN waiters try to push us (of course without notice of the price) beer for 60 PLN! The cider we finally chose was recommended to take the cast from the tap instead of the bottle without telling us that it is twice as expensive!). Very expensive. Over 7 people 10% of the service charge will be charged, which is oddly not shown on the receipt. Music too loud, prevents conversations and a pleasant stay. I don’t...
