This is not our first experience with Indian cuisine, so we definitely have something to compare it with. There is no alcohol here, but instead they offer a fairly wide variety of dishes. The waiter was pleasant and attentive, which we really appreciated.
From the food side: Indian cuisine naturally uses a lot of spices, which is expected. However, it was quite unusual (and not very pleasant) to find whole spices not crushed or blended into the dishes. For example, there was a lot of cardamom, and we constantly bit into whole pods, it completely overpowered the flavor of everything else. The same happened with other spices, big woody pieces that you ended up chewing and having to spit out. Since spices are so aromatic, they blocked out the real taste of the food. Unfortunately, this left a strong negative impression.
As for the prices, they felt a bit too high for what the place offers. It’s not a fancy restaurant, just a simple Indian eatery with basic atmosphere (Indian music, nice smells, very casual setting). Still, prices were on the level of restaurant meals. For two people our bill came to 122 PLN. They also charge 2 PLN per takeaway container, so if you want to pack meat, rice, and something else separately, that’s already an extra 6 PLN. In Warsaw, we would pay 5–10 PLN less for the same dishes in a similar place.
Overall evaluation: • Food: 3.5–4/5, mainly because of the whole spices ruining the balance. • Atmosphere: 3/5, very simple, not really “restaurant level.” • Service: 5/5, no complaints at all.
Is it tasty? Yes. Worth trying once? Also yes. But would we come back regularly? Most likely not, the prices don’t quite match the quality or level of the place.
👉 Final thought, with an Indian touch: “The spices should dance in the curry, not...
Read moreI tried some sweet mango masala today and it was really good. At first I thought it was overpriced however when the dish came I saw that the portion was so fulfilling and I couldn't even finish my plate although I wanted but it was really fulfilling. It took much time to prepare the food and I was kinda frustrated at first however the taste made happy and moreover it was so hot so all was cooked fresh to the order so it is fine then if they take time I appreciate that. The lady who seems to be the owner greeted us and checked if we are happy with the food so that was a nice touch. The rice was so fluffy I loved it so much too. She didn't want to give her secret for such amazing rice hahaha. I recommend this restaurant over mango mama since value for money is way better in Bombay grill Message to the nice lady ☺️ for sure I will come again to try...
Read moreThis is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Wrocław! The Rogan Josh was outstanding—the lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The garlic naan was incredible—soft, fluffy, and loaded with just the right amount of garlic flavor, making it the ideal companion for the dish.
What truly stood out was the exceptional attention and service from the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, made thoughtful recommendations, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Their genuine hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.
Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit. Amazing food, great ambiance, and top-notch service—I’ll...
