I had the pleasure of embarking on a recent trip to Poland, where I had the opportunity to dine at the exquisite Restauracja Tarasowa. The moment I walked in, I was immediately captivated by the breathtaking ambience accentuated by the elegant interior design. As I sampled the food, I took a culinary journey I will never forget. Each dish was crafted with the utmost care and heavenly flavours. One item that stood out to me was the butter they served, enriched with nuts, creamy, and a true delight for my taste buds. I couldn't get enough of it and had to request a refill twice! The pork chop was cooked to perfection and oozed with flavour, while the goat cheese dessert was a surprise that left me wanting more. The staff were highly professional, and the service was beyond exceptional. I strongly recommend adding Restauracja Tarasowa to your itinerary if you can visit Poland. Very disappointed. To start, you get inside and feels like a boutique instead of a restaurant, so much perfume on the inside that burn the eyes. Moved to the table, outside... literally 20 minutes waiting just to tell our order. Took 15 minutes for two coca-colas. 30 minutes to receive a boring bread (wasn't a bad bread, just boring, nothing special or different from any bakery). We requested another two coca colas (those never received). Another 20 minutes later, we received one of two main courses and the second would be ready in around 15 minutes. Makes sense right, only one person eating while the other watch or you eat cold food after waiting the second dish to arrive.... After this "experience" we cancelled the order and left to...

we visited the restaurant quite early on a saturday for the degustation menu. during table preparation, we had some wonderful drinks at the bar - relaxed, highly competent & some of the best aperitivos you can think of.

For the menu - we were very surprised to find an excellent, innovative cusine based on traditional & regional ingredients & recipes. Accompagnied by a great selection of local polish wines. There could also be some international positions on the the wine menu, though. Service was very polite, helpful & competent. No pushyness, no attitude, just nice people knowing what to to.
