Road American Sky Tower — Restaurant in Wrocław

I've been here 3 times and I'm not going back. The first 2 times were fine, aside from typically slow service and being served a warm bottled beer.

This most recent time, my wife and I went for lunch and ordered burgers - the Cheese Burger and the Goat Cheese burger. Before ordering my wife asked repeatedly, in Polish, if the avocado on the goat cheese burger would be ripe. The server insisted it would be. When we got the burger, the avocado was like plastic - I wish I'd taken a photo, because I was able to bend one of the slices in the shape of the letter U without it breaking. I had ordered my burger without onions and pickles, and it came with pickles.

We returned the food to the chef - we couldn't find our server - and he laughed when we said the avocado was not ripe. This place is supposed to be upscale and charges over the average price for everything on the menu - which is usually worth paying a little extra for. The server apologised and we asked for the bill for our lemonades. We didn't have time to wait for more food, and when she brought the bill I asked for a discount for the inconvenience, and she begrudgingly said we could have our drinks for free and stormed off without saying goodbye. I know - who cares about the goodbye, right? Well, in Poland it's customary to say hello and goodbye, especially in a restaurant or shop. Walking off angrily without saying goodbye (do widzenia) is childish and rude, especially for a nicer, slightly more upscale restaurant.

The server made a mistake with my burger - the chef laughed in my wife's face when we said the avocado was not ripe. That's basically it, which is lame but not the end of the world. However, I have friends who have had similar experiences and also refuse to go back. The bottom line is that there are places close by with good burgers at a lower price, but they don't quite offer the same ambiance as this place, which is only average at best.

If you are in Wroclaw and want a good burger, try Sztrass Burger, Rock Burger, or the food truck opposite Arkady. They are all very good and the prices are totally reasonable - 18-25 pln for a burger with fries or a...

I don't recommend!!!!! Small restaurant with really disrespectful and rude waitresses. We arrived as a group of 5 people and as all the tables were full we suggested not we would wait on the bar till a table of 5 gets free but they were stupid enough to put on that table people that didnt not know each other and as 2 or 3 people were finishing they were being replaced by other people each time coming after us and thus making the table never being free. Eventhough we already made our orders (more than 300pln) and made a complaint to them about this issue, they did not mind us and at the end (about 40mn after) we just decided to leave the restaurant and were never got serve, not even a started nor any drinks we ordered. We heard one of the waitresses shouting loud "let them go and cancel their order!!!!" in a reall rude way....

I have been many good places in Poland, but I had THE WORST experience here. Are they racist? They seemed not to be ready to work, and should learn more. Especially Kamil was acting like a child.

Dorota didn't write anything down and didn't check when she took the order. Eventually she made a mistake and disappeared. When we noticed something was wrong and asked for it, Kamil responded with a very ruuuuuude attitude. They mistakenly served food more than twice(2.5) as expensive as we ordered, but what he offered was only a 10% discount. And he kept saying "I don't know", and treating us in a terribly disrespctful manner. Without a single word of apology, only rude and disgusting service attitude was actively performed to us.
