Bubuja Bistro — Restaurant in Zakopane

So me and my Wife were in Zakopane, Poland 🇵🇱 from our home in Manchester, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

So we're running early for our train so we decided to head to Bubuja Bistro for some lunch as was only a few minutes walk from the train station, So we arrived at the restaurant and we were warmly greeted by a waitress who sat us down.

The restaurant wasn't overly busy as they hadn't long opened, To drink I ordered a pint of Local beer and my Wife opted for a glass of Red Wine, Drinks came, well served and I really enjoyed my Crisp Ice cold beer and my Wife really enjoyed her glass of red wine 🍷.

To eat I ordered Steak Tatar(Raw meat with onions and gherkins) with an egg on top and wine ordered Prawn and Chorizo, Food was well served, generous portions and tasted amazing.

Polite and friendly staff, Restaurant was spotlessly clean, Excellent service, Great variety of Food on the Menu, lovely setting, Reasonable prices, great location etc.

From the moment we arrived, Bubuja Bistro impressed us with its beautiful wooden exterior 🪵 and warm, inviting interior 🌿. The decor is stunning—modern yet cozy—with a lovely fireplace 🔥 and greenery that makes the space feel truly special.

We were served by Marcelina, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and polite 😊. It’s rare to meet someone so passionate about their work—her positive energy really made our evening.

We ordered:

🥩 Żeberko wieprzowe w sosie kalbi (64 zł) Delectable ribs—fall-off-the-bone tender with a sweet, flavorful kalbi sauce. Paired with rice and fresh cucumber, it was perfect.

🥟 Pierogi z bryndzą, czosnkiem niedźwiedzim i podgrzybkiem (48 zł) Soft, melt-in-your-mouth dough and a rich, earthy filling. While not my personal favorite, I truly respect the chef’s effort and execution.

🍠 Pieczone bataty z pędami brokuła, cukinią i vinegretem limonkowym (48 zł) A colorful, wholesome dish. The roasted veggies were fresh and tasty, with a zing from the lime vinaigrette and crunch from pistachios.

🍋 Lemoniada tradycyjna (1L – 25 zł) One of the freshest and most flavorful lemonades I’ve had—zesty, refreshing, and just the right sweetness.
