Restauracja Marilor — Restaurant in Zakopane

This is a review you look for, an honest one. I will start by saying that as you enter the restaurant, you are kindly greeted and shown to your table. The menu has a variety to choose and there is definitely something to find for anyone who’s hungry. The presentations of my dishes were exceptional. I enjoyed the art, ambiance and music while experiencing this establishment. Upon receiving my dishes, I was never looked after when I noticed that minutes and minutes went by. I was wanting to request pepper, as the shaker for it was empty. The waitress never came. I had to flag down a person who seemed like a supervisor, from my table, which was quite embarrassing for me as I don’t like to impose on other staff members. I also requested some hot sauce which was to no avail. This hot sauce was very important to me as it’s how I enjoy my steak. Speaking about the steak, I had requested to the waitress that the steak be prepared as rare as possible, but upon receiving it fully cooked, I was left unsatisfied in eating a hardened cooked piece of steak with not that much of flavor if I might add unfortunately. I’m saddened by this experience and I know they are a new restaurant. I surely hope that this review will be taken into consideration for the staff, chef, and owners as a whole. Overall, it doesn’t seem likely that I will return and I would recommend to spend your hard earned money at a different location. I wish the restaurant the very best in the service of future...

Absolutely fabulous place! Me and my husband love good food and we travel a lot so we always make sure to visit a well rated restaurant wherever we are. We like to tell each other how many points out of 10 we would give to a certain place and so far we have never given any place 10/10 (because we considered it to be unrealistic perfection :) ) but we did to Marilor. The food there is just divine, the staff is very nice, the design and overall atmosphere of the place is very clean, airy, sunny, cozy, modern and stylish. I loved every bit, everything is very well thought of, great attenton to details such as cutlery, plates, artwork, decor and music and the food itself of course! We visited 3x and tried approximately half of the menu and everything was perfect. I have never felt so good in a restaurant and I visit them often. This is definitely my favourite restaurant which I was quite surprised to find in a little town of Zakopane but this place is...

Tym razem w opinii nie dodaję zdjęcia dań jak zawsze, ponieważ dania może i ładnie wyglądały lecz smaku to tam nie było. Pamiętam jak w tym miejscu delektowałem się potrawami z "Bubuja" zanim się przenieśli - teraz nadal pysznie tam jest. Jak dzień wcześniej zajadałem się w "Halce" - pycha. Tutaj niestety zostaliśmy zawiedzeni, a raczej zwiedzeni wyglądem dań i tym że miałem blisko z Hotelu Nosalowy Park. Do rzeczy, zupa krem słona i to nie tylko moje zdanie, lecz i żony, która wydaje dość powściągliwe opinie. Drugie danie, żeberko, niby ok, mięso super odchodziło od kości, lecz mimo to może i sól po wcześniejszym daniu powodowała że to danie też "było słone" - jedyny plus że porcja duża, nawet i zbyt duża dla mnie, lecz nie o wielkość chodzi, a o smak. Wisienka na torcie to lemoniada, pamiętam taką super że świeżych owoców, a tutaj to woda z lodem i zalane "farbką" owocową, czyli jakimś soczkiem, chyba "Herbabol", "Paola", soki dobre lecz na restauracje chcąca podawać jedzenie na poziomie to nie pasuje - chyba że się mylę i to był jakiś rzemieślniczy sok, lecz podanie nawet takiego tylko z cytryna to słabo. Kolejna rzecz, niby drobna, niby nie, byliśmy w trzy osoby, dwóch dorosłych i dziecko 4 lata, a dostaliśmy zestaw sztućców na tylko dwie dorosłe osoby, a dziecko to co? Więc obsługa jakoś mało domyślna. Wystrój też jakiś taki nijaki się zrobił, brak mu charakteru jest taki ciepło,, pierdzący, ni prowansaldzki, ni góralski, ni modernistyczny, taki bez emocji. Zapewne nie wrócimy tam, są lokalizację ciekawsze wnętrzem, z bardziej ogarniętą obsługą, lecz zaznaczam miła i chcąca poznać opinię, więc oceniam całość nie personalia i co ważne z lepszym smakie - Bubuja i Halka wygrywają....
