Karczma Zornica — Restaurant in Zakopane

I have never written a bad review of any place before, but this time the dinner was so disappointing—I'd even say repelling—that I don't wish for anyone to have the same experience we did. The place looked really nice from the outside, the waitresses were very kind, and it didn’t look like one of those typical “tourist-trap” restaurants, so we thought we were in for a pleasant dinner. The Żurek was very tasty, though it would’ve been nice to have it served in a bread bowl—but okay, that’s just us being picky tourists. The Oscypek cheese was also very good, but served on such an impractical plate/board that the jam spilled on the table every time we tried to cut it. But what pushed me to write this review were the main dishes. This was the first time in my life I had a burger I couldn’t bite through. It felt like I was trying to chew raw meat, even though it was cooked. I have no idea WHAT do you have to do to minced meat to make it turn out like this, but it was absolutely not edible. The potato pancakes were just pure cooking oil—no trace of actual potato flavor. Just oil. We were very tired and hungry, so we didn’t make a scene. We ate just enough to stop the hunger, paid, and left. But if you're considering going to this place, I would personally recommend...

I went on a trip to Poland, and on the first evening, my wife and I had dinner at this place. We both thought the interior design of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful 🫢

It was the perfect place for us, as we wanted to experience Polish cuisine. The food was so delicious that it truly captured the essence of Poland, and the beer we ordered with it was incredibly refreshing.

We visited a bit early, around 5 PM, so the place was quiet, and we could enjoy our meal peacefully. However, we noticed that after 7 PM, the restaurant started to fill up with many people.

If we ever visit Zakopane again, we would definitely love to come back to...

Pierwszy raz w życiu oceniam jedzenie w restauracji. Bywało lepiej,lub gorzej,ale nigdy tak źle jak tutaj. Trochę restauracji odwiedziłem i chyba wiem,o czym piszę. Zamówiłem polecone,firmowe danie,czyli placki ziemniaczane z kotletem schabowym i sosem grzybowym. Z trzech placków jeden świeżo smażony, a dwa stare i ledwo podgrzane. Kotlet schabowy niejedno już widział i przeżył w tej restauracji. Udało się ugryźć jeden kawałek i gdybym miał się zmusić do zjedzenia reszty, to pewnie bym musiał tam siedzieć jeszcze kilka dni,żeby to przeżuć w zębach. To wszystko polane starym sosem,który miał konsystencję i zapach oleju zlanego z silnika diesla. Koledzy zamówili kiełbaski z cebulą i też nie zdołali zjeść ze względu na brak jakości jedzenia. Wstydu nie macie!!! O obsłudze nie napiszę. Mogłbym, ale tak naprawdę szkoda tych dziewczyn, które pewnie muszą świecić oczami za to, co jest wydawane z kuchni za przyzwoleniem właścicieli.

Dodane po odpowiedzi właściciela. Mimo tego, że pytanie o to, czy byliśmy u państwa uważam za niestosowne, to odpowiem. Tak, na pewno byliśmy u państwa. Widzę, że bardziej pasuje pan na trolla, niż restauratora. Szczególnie biorąc pod uwagę ciągłe sugestie, że pomyliłem miejsca. Nie pomyliłem, bo jak napisałem na początku, było to prawdopodobnie najgorsze jedzenie restauracyjne jakie przyszło mi próbować. Placki, sos, schab o których pisałem można łatwo znaleźć na zdjęciach. To, że nie macie kiełbasek nie znaczy , że ich nie jadłem. Jadłem kiedy były w ofercie. Kiedy się otworzy mapę Google Zakopanego, trudno jest znaleźć restauracje, które mają opinie poniżej 4 gwiazdek z pięciu możliwych. U was jest średnia 3,8 co potwierdza tylko duża ilość opinii z 1, 2 i 3 gwiazdkami. Dobrze by było, gdyby pan(i) poprosił(a) kogoś innego do pisania. Pisze pan(i) tak, jak gotuje,...
