Wow! Been to Zakopane for 3 nights and from all places we have tried, this one is the best! Atmosphere, food, drinks - everything was great. I had chicken and chocolate cake, my husband - potato pancakes and dessert of the day. My chicken was very tasty, but I still couldn't resist stealing some of husband's potato pancakes because they were so crispy and delicious 🥹 and of course, chocolate lava cake was perfection - just melted in my mouth. An amazing place with a cozy interior and superb cuisine. Both the pierogi and the fish we ordered were outstanding -- the sauce, the texture, and, of course, the taste will be something I'm sure to remember and revisit next time I'm in Zakopane. The beer-based summer drink is also fantastic, an amazing spin on the beer+juice combo. Ordered our Christmas dinners this year. It was true mix of quality so leaving review with only few stars. Dishes which we would not recommend ordering pierogi with no filling( there was almost no cabbage and mushroom), pate which was really dry and we didn’t end up eating, fried karp which also appeared stale and really hard and cheesecake which definitely was past due date.
