Great restaurant! I was a bit hesitant to get in because it was sooo light and white from the outside, but I'm really glad we walked in. Great staff and service. They speak English and are very helpful. We had the migas and the cod gratin and were really happy with our choices. Also, the prices are great, not expensive at all and great food 🤗

Das Restaurant, in einer schmalen Gasse gelegen, hat und angesprochen - wir hatten keine Ahnung was es hier gibt. Einfach mal zwei Gerichte ausprobiert und waren ganz angetan. Es ist definitiv authentische portugiesische Küche! 🇵🇹 Wir hatten schwarzes Schwein und Migos mit Geflügel. Beides war sehr lecker. Der Service war in Ordnung. Die eine Kellnerin kaute ständig auf irgendwas, der eine Kellner konnte zwar schlecht englisch, war aber dennoch sehr bemüht und darauf kommt es ja an! Draußen in der Gasse war es mittelmäßig gemütlich, keine Deko oder sowas. Die Straße nicht so weit weg. Drinnen sah es hingegen sehr gemütlich aus. Nächstes Mal also drinnen. Preis/ Leistung war hervorragend! Unsere reichhaltigen Hauptgerichte lagen bei 10€ und 12€. Achtung! Die Vorspeisen, welche auffällig nur nicht Einheimischen auf den Tisch gestellt werden, werden automatisch (sehr günstig) mit berechnet. Wir können den Besuch empfehlen.

Nous cherchions un petit resto en terrasse lors de notre passage à Evora. La terrasse était dans la rue mais sympa avec petit air avec la chaleur du soir encore pesante. Grande déception ensuite du début à la fin de notre moment en amoureux. Un Plat : morue baignant dans l'huile et un autre plat : viande pas tendre du tout (nous pensons à un problème de cuisto) puis dessert pas du tout à notre goût (goût restant dans la bouche) puis l'addition arrive, on nous compte tous les petits plats mis sur la table à notre arrivée alors qu'on n'en voulait pas. Et au final erreur de calcul en leur faveur... Pas très correct pour des portuguais. Déçus nous ne reviendrons pas, un piège à touristes.

First of all I hate writing negative reviewes, but this rating is based on the respond of the owner ... and the not so nice received food. To keep it short: Waited almost 40 min to get the dish of the day. French fries arrived completely cold. Asked for hot french fries. The whole plate with the french fries came back re-heated in the MICROWAVE and as consequence the fries were mush. When adressing the issue to the owner, he just replied "It's like that" ! No excuse, no change of plate, no nothing....

What a delight!! We wandered just slightly off the main square to look for a restaurant that was open, and I couldn't be happier we stumbled on this place! We had the pork meal for 2, which had 4 or 5 different cuts off pork. (All were delicious, especially the black pork!) A salad and potato chips accompanied the meal, which were both simple and wonderfully prepared. Very friendly staff. Make it a point to try this place out... You won't be...

This is a very casual but very tasty restaurant. The service is super attentive and fast. Traditional soup (made from shark) was incredible. It was a meal in itself. Bochecha de Porco (pork cheeks) was very good. The veal was great as well. It is not a Michelin star quality place but very cozy and super authentic. Highly recommend...
