Nice authentic restaurant with friendly staff and traditional food on the menu. We were the only tourists, the rest were all locals. We were a group of 5 and some of the dishes were great, especially the meat, and some of them were okay to not great. The sides could have been more tasty, they were very plain. Tiramisu is also better in other places. Good variety of wine and clean toilets.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and it did not disappoint! We ordered the camafana which were so good!! (No pics as we wolfed them down, but they were like gamba pil pil montaditos) The lamb and pork cheeks were ✨chef’s kiss✨ And then bonus points for the staff being so attentive and friendly Deffo worth a stop!

I honestly dont understand the 4.3 rating as it is truly an amazing restaurant! The service 5 star, the food 5 star and the atmosphere unbelievable. This is the second time visiting this restaurant while spending a night in Evora. The staff is so service minded and customer oriented! They are constantly checking in on you and always have an amazing recommendation to provide when it comes to the food and wine! If you are a big wine enthusiast this is definitely a place to visit as their selection is amazing and their somelier is so knowledgeable. You describe what you like or dislike and he will provide the best recommendations tailored to your taste and not depending on what is the most expensive, truly service at its best! We even shared that last time we were here we had some amazing garlic clams which werent on the menu this time but they then went and surprised us with the dish nevertheless!

I have nothing else to say than 5 stars and we will definitely be back when we’re in...

The best dining experience we’ve had since we’ve been in Portugal! Everyone was so friendly! Called for reservation and spoke with João - he remembered my name and was incredibly friendly to us during our visit. Our waiter Duarte was so kind and took time to visit with us throughout the evening as well - very knowledgeable and eager to answer our questions as annoying tourists. But the food! The food was excellent! We started with the mushrooms (delicious!) as our appetizer (João finished the prep at our table), and then had an assortment of meats with vegetables for our main dishes. It was such a great meal and a wonderful experience - highly recommend...

I've been spending Easter holidays in Portugal for three years now, and this is the best restaurant I've been to so far. Traditional Alentejo cuisine, perfectly prepared with respect for tradition and contemporary precision.
