Pane & Vino — Restaurant in Évora

We went here twice while in Evora, because the other Vegan friendly restaurant was closed unexpectedly, so came here twice. The first time for lunch it was very good. Quick service. Meal was also quite fast. Delicious.

Second time (dinner), service was very slow. It did get pretty busy but we waited around 30 minutes to get our bill before I went up to the cash and just paid. Food was 4/5. Menu is all in Portuguese and they explained what things were to us.

Very slow service, went with my wife, we considered leaving because the service was too slow. My wife ordered a salmon salade and it was very bland no sauce or vinegrette or anything. I ordered pesto pasta, it was good but nothing out of this world.... well.... compared to her salad it was great. Thank good (or whatever higher creature you choose to believe in) for places like Pane&vino. Rule of the thumb in Evora seems to be: you are born, you book a restaurant in Evora, you enrole in primary school... seriously, try eating in this town without a looong pre-booking.
