A tiny temple of deliciousness! There weren’t many bones on me left uncovered after lunch here! Some of the most delicious dishes I’ve tasted in Portugal. Crispy cod pancakes (like tortallitas de camerones) but instead of camarones & parsley, salt cod and fresh coriander. Divine. The spinach soufflé & prawns with a crispy cheese crust was way beyond the menu description. Sensational. Iberian Pork and clams with wilted sprigs of fresh coriander and caramelised onions. Not a potato in sight. Cooking eat ahead of the tiny site it occupies by this husband and wife team. I booked a table for 2 an hour in advance and was able to get a table but do be aware that this place only fits in total 14 people and has 6 to 7 tables inside, so do make a reservation before appearing there. The food was amazing, Mr. Oliveira was also very accommodating and always trying to give the best advice and suggestions. But: the quality is fantastic, the service attentive. We usually only manage to eat the cold and warm starters, e.g. Octopus salad, quail egg salad, spinach omelette etc. Be sure to say no to the starters when you are done with them as it is local customs to bring more until you stop them.
