O Portão da Vila — Restaurant in Óbidos

We were in Obidos for New Year's Eve, and it was looking like we were going to be hungry and sober since we hadn't made a New Year's dinner reservation at any of the local hotels, when we stumbled across this place due to its lights and music. The couple running this bar are super friendly, and we had a lovely night drinking beer and local wine, and eating pizza, in a lovely courtyard looking up at the old city walls, and the owners even brought out ginja shots at midnight. On a Cosmos/Globus coach trip. Stopped in Obidos for lunch. The tour guide told us to walk until we saw a restaurant with a menu that appealed to us. We passed on the 1st we came to then noticed a pizza sign down a path to the right. Wonderful and engaging owners. The pizza was wonderful, thin crust, very tasty with a choice of toppings. Vegan options available. Our party of 6 enjoyed the milkshakes too made from house made ice cream. The price was extremely reasonable. Great place for drinks and a light...

Was a pleasant surprise. Went to Vila Natal and looking for a place to eat.luckily found this one. We were 4 adults 4 kids and 2 baby twins. Sat inside and the service was just amazing, the quality vs price was amazing. Kids loved and when kids are happy everyone knows the adults also enjoy 😂😂😂loved the tortilla pizzas and the tomato soup. Thank guys, will be back during the chocolate...
