Sétimo Ano de Praia is one of those places where, once you sit down, time begins to slow. Set on a circular wooden deck over the dunes of Praia da Barra, we had lunch with a direct view of the sea, while the children played freely in the sand right beside us — a rare kind of tranquillity.

Came here for a quick dinner and despite the good reputation and welcoming environment, it was all ruined by the rudeness and unkindness of (what seemed to me) the chief waiter who made us feel not welcome. It was all due to a special request of my relative who lives next to the restaurant that asked to place the cool umbrella for dining - this was kindly accepted at first but all of a sudden and without any consent or explanation, it was abruptly removed by the waiter in the middle of our service. This restaurant in the sand is such a treasure. Beautifully located on Barra Beach ⛱🌊⛱🌊⛱🌊⛱🌊⛱🌊...it's definitely worth a visit. I gave this lovely spot 1⭐ short of 5 because it said it wasn't possible to make a dirty martini 🍸🍸🍸! I find it hard to accept that any bar or bartender anywhere in the world is unable to make a drink...but there are always a few that I can understand...a martini is NOT one of them.
