Experience not to be repeated: despite arriving early with only about 20% of the tables occupied we waited for over 45 minutes before I asked where our meals where. A few minutes later the first meal , a simple chicken piri piri , finally arrived. My own meal, a vegetable lasagne was supposed to be ready in another 15 minutes, I however preferred to ask for the bill and I had my dinner at home. Read more9 of us had dinner here last night. Its a traditional place to eat with a small entrance but is huge inside. We were warmly greeted and as we sat down colouring books and pencils were given to our kids. The menu isn't extensive but I find this better than a place that's offers a menu the size of a phone book. We had the garlic prawns to start with, I would recommend these. And the lasagne was really nice too. Portions are good and the prices reasonable. There is a kids menu but it's mostly the usual fried / frozen foods. We would recommend...

Also a customer mimicking that the children needed a good slap . We found this very distressing as they don’t know if the children had special needs .
