Fratelli Pizzeria Popolare — Restaurant in Albufeira

I would like to start by saying we highly recommend this restaurant.

We were seated swiftly and the staff were so helpful and friendly, also included our kids in the chat. We had water and drinks served in no time and they left us plenty time to chose from the tempting menu. Food arrived in good time considering everything is clearly made from scratch. We had flavours bursting out of our dishes and we all managed to try a little of each others as they were too good to miss! We can confidently recommend the Pizza Di Nitro, Spaghetti Bolognaise, and lasagna! So fresh and cooked to perfection. The waiting staff were so informative with the menu and were on hand for drinks right away when asked. Honestly can’t think of anything more we could have wanted from our dinner date, kids also loved it. A special mention to Checo, he was fabulous and an asset to the restaurant, he was the main reason our experience was flawless.

Restaurant wasn't right on the beach as pictures led me to believe. After sitting down for only a moment we had waiters coming over to ask what drink we wanted even though we had just been given the menu, it felt as though they wanted us to hurry so that they could free up a table. Not a good start. Regarding the food, the menu wasn't great at all, ended up getting a margherita pizza and honestly was the worst pizza I've ever had. It was swimming in oil, cheese and every part of the dough was thick chewy and completely raw. The waiters also knew there was an issue with the food myself that my partner and I ordered and yet we were still charged full price and no apologies for not even being able to eat half of what we received. Won't be returning and would definitely NOT...

The place was nice, even though the waiters were in a hurry just to collect our order. Along with it they seemed completely disorganized because we were constantly questioned for it for several people in just a couple of minutes.

The food was nice, but quite expensive on my opinion.

The worst on my personal opinion was the house's politics. Instead of offer a good service for the customers, the waiters insisted we couldn't order the starters while we choose the main dish. The only thing the want us to choose as soon as possible was the drinks. That gave me a clear opinion they were trying to rush us out and, honestly, I prefer not to think why...
