We called on a Wednesday around 5.40pm but were told that the kitchen opens at 6.30, so returned at 6.30 the following day instead, and we are glad we did.
There is a restaurant menu with meat and fish dishes, omelettes, and I think salads. Prices seemed similar to other establishments in the same locality, and there is a posher section of the dining area that seemed to have several table reservations. (I didn't see any €10 menu as mentioned in another review).
We sat in the bar area and ordered from the bar snacks menu, on the back of the drinks menu. We had 1 hamburger, 3 hamburgers with cheese, 2 portions of fries (shared between 2 adults and 2 enthusiastic kids), 1 coke and a 1.5l bottle of water for a total of €32.
The food was served fairly quickly, the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great place to sit looking at the sea and have a yummy casual meal. Based on the quality of what we had, I would be very willing to try the restaurant-style menu, but I think I'd rather sit in the posher part if ordering knife...

From the first spoonful, the fish soup commands attention; it's not just good, it's the best—bar none—an unrivaled symphony of flavors from the sea. The Lulas, oh the Lulas—each bite of the calamari is a tender testament to the kitchen's mastery over seafood.
The service mirrors the excellence of the cuisine—attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to guide you through a memorable dining journey with stellar recommendations. And the sea bass, fresh from the water's embrace, meets the grill only to emerge as a masterpiece of char and tenderness.
This gem doesn’t just shine; it dazzles with its commitment to delivering a pure, unadulterated sea-to-table experience. It's a resounding must-visit for any lover of fine, fresh, and...
Read moreWe stopped here for a drink, on an evening walk and decided to stay for our evening meal, as the location is really lovely, overlooking the sea. Very authentic, rustic decor and interesting to see the old family photos in the wall. Pleasant service and the food was simple but tasty. Pork with Apple (they brought pineapple) and sea bass fillets ..no veg.. Just a bowl of fries and a small bowl of salad between us. Overpriced for what it was but I guess you're also paying for the view. My husband went to pay on his card and they said the machine wasn't working, so he had to go out and get some cash from an ATM. On his return, another (local) customer got up and paid by card! Not sure what that was all about but we did get a free glass of port before we went. Don't expect anything fancy and do expect it to be expensive and you won't be...
