Well worth a visit if your in Guia or even further afield, we've known Joe, Carol and Kylie for many years, down to earth and genuinely friendly people, the bar is stunning with a good choice of cocktails at a more than reasonable price, nice range of bar snacks, the English breakfast and Sunday roasts are superb! Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed! So sad to see such a lonely bar close, due to the condominium management and a few of the English residents, made it impossible to run as a bar and soon to be turned into an Indian restaurant and takeaway with live music , the condominium management should be be ashamed of them selves for letting this happen,...

The friendliest place in Guia! We came to CoCo Jolu on the recommendation of another tourist. As we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly man, who turns out to be the owner Joe. We had come for food (all 6 of us) but food had finished, despite this the owner was happy to cook burgers for us and even offered us the option to pay the following day. Had a Yorkshire Sunday roast it was fantastic in fact it was better than fantastic. The owner and staff make you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble for them, for food and drink and a warm welcome this is a little gem of a place , the Sunday lunch was delicious and the plum crumble took me back to my childhood.
