O Cantinho — Restaurant in Albufeira

This Snack Bar is now run by Catià who took over In early 2024. I myself have personally known Catià for around 11 years she has worked in a few well known bars in Albufeira and in my very many trips to Portugal over the years have followed Catià. That In itself speaks volumes. She is a very easy outgoing person who loves a chat and will go the extra mile to make sure your time on holiday is as fantastic as she is! Her son (while off from his studies) is on hand to help, and often is her Mother also. Catià speaks fluent English and will help you in any questions you may have.

Drinks and food are equally fantastic! I'm not a fan of "breakfast" but her breakfast is honestly the best In Albufeira, it takes a lot to win me over on food but this one is a must try. From sandwiches to toasties and light bites it is right up there. Remember it is a snack bar and not a restaurant. Be sure to try a Bifana a traditional Pork steak sandwich/roll/baguette (thinly sliced pork tossed in garlic and spices)

Outside seating, sun or shade and outside TV not entirely sure what sport she has this will depend on business. Chilled atmosphere with many locals coming and going. The perfect spot for "people watching and sangria"

Prices always the chat in many reviews. You are on holiday. This bar is Portuguese so therefore so are the prices. You will get your breakfast/lunch, drink/beer and coffee/espresso for €10 or less! Depending.

It's a MUST TRY.

We had a quick little breakfast at “ o cantinho“ , very simple and homely place , gives of the vibe of a backyard type of place.

We had a full English breakfast , hot coco’s , orange juice and tea .

Everything was very delicious and freshly made and it’s very affordable too !

The staff was very lovely and welcoming

Will come by during weekends more often definitely recommend 10/10

Nous avons pris un petit déjeuner rapide à " o cantinho ", un endroit très simple et accueillant, qui donne l'impression d'être dans une arrière-cour.

Nous avons pris un petit déjeuner anglais complet, des cocos chauds, du jus d'orange et du thé.

Tout était délicieux et fraîchement préparé et c'est aussi très abordable !

Le personnel était très gentil et accueillant

Je reviendrai plus souvent le week-end, je recommande vraiment 10/10.

Tomámos um pequeno-almoço rápido no "o cantinho", um sítio muito simples e acolhedor, que dá a sensação de estarmos num quintal.

Tomámos um pequeno-almoço inglês completo, cacau quente, sumo de laranja e chá.

Tudo estava muito delicioso e acabado de fazer e é muito acessível também!

Os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e acolhedores

Irei passar mais vezes durante os fins-de-semana, recomendo...
