Total chaos there around 11 am on a Sunday. People sitting at dirty tables for ages waiting for someone to clear the table and serve them. A mess on the floor around the table as well. Completely disorganised. I do appreciate the efforts the staff made to keep on top of it but this was one of those where it’s better to work smarter than harder. They should have a gatekeeper and invite people in only when they are confident they can offer a good service, i.e. customer comes to a clean table and is served in a timely fashion. We ended up sitting at a dirty table for ages waiting for someone to clean it up. And then waited for more for someone to take the order. We ended up leaving before even placing an order as we been there for about half an hour already just sitting around doing nothing. Read moreWent here for the 1st time and I had a good experience. The premises are cleaned, fresh and relaxed. Toilets were so cleaned and stocked with all the necessities. There are sweet and salty pastries and they also serve breakfasts and lunches, self service or ordered. Tried a local salty pastry, “empada de galinha” (chicken) and a “pastel de bacalhau” (Cod). Both were exceptional tasty, the chicken one was soft and with the right texture, and the Cod pastry perfectly fried, didn’t tasty of oil at all. The natural juice was full of vitamin D, and all of this was £6. It is pricey for the locals no doubt, however, the pastries are worthy any cent. :) I will go back to...
